Well they didn't take the tax off my order yet, but they said once my order ships they will give me a refund for it. They probably saw my chat logs and got tired of me asking.

I have two PS4's preordered from Amazon and I've been thinking about keeping 1 and then flipping the other. I'm prolly gonna sell it for no more than $200 more than retail.

However, assuming I get no buyers, could I simply return it to Amazon and get all my money back?

You only get your shipping refunded if Amazon made an error. If you got free shipping with your order, they'll still charge you a shipping fee back to them.

I still think there's a really good chance PS4(s) will be readily available on launch and those looking to flip consoles won't be making much of a profit.

I'm unsure of the path I'm going to take with my Amazon pre order.

But a month after release would be my target if flipping was the way I went. It's pretty much been thought from the beginning that consoles will be available at launch.

I'm interested in availability before Christmas and whether or not Sony can keep enough units on the shelf after fulfilling pre orders and the 1st wave of pre holiday sales.

I'm thinking that too. I haven't heard about any production setbacks on either next-gen console. A few extra bucks would be nice, but I just wanna play the games TBH.

I'm sorta thinking the same. I have one of my pre-orders up on eBay now and its at $650 with 4 days to go. If I can get $700-$750 for it I will take it

I have to think they'll try and flood the market for the holidays....I think Xbox 360 was so limited because they had so many hardware problems leading up to launch....

I'd be surprised if it was as bad as when 360 came out, but who knows.

DreamGEAR will be releasing two more gaming headsets for the PS4 shortly after the next-generation system launches in the North American region. According to an update from Amazon on Oct. 14, the online retailer listed the Prime Solo and Wired Gaming Headsets for Sony's new console.

The DreamGEAR Prime Solo Wired Gaming Headset can be plugged directly into the DualShock 4 controller using the 3.5mm plug. It features a four-foot cable, volume and voice control along with a noise-canceling microphone. The product has an official price tag of $24.99.

I am truely hoping that my philosophy of always acting upon good faith, pays off ... my younger bro just dropped the two launch bundle preorders (one for me and the other for him, both to be paid by me) we made, just because he is planning on having a trip to the US during holidays and expects to get both PS4 while there.

The benefits of getting them there is that we dont have to pay neither the shipping cost nor the taxes here (there is an exenssion), both amounting to around 55% the cost of the bundles. The risk is getting nothing due to a shortage, having to wait months and ultimately, having to pay the shipping and taxes.

Really, really hope rumors are true and that there are plenty of Sonys new console in store around christmass time.

P.S:
Thats how you quickly deteriorate family relations.

I'm about 80% to 20% that I'm going with PS4 after Microsoft for 10+ years. I like everything I'm seeing and reading for Playstation. I hope to be able to get one sometime right after New Year, although the wait for next-gen NBA 2K14 is gonna kill me lol.
