At the Sony store right now playing the ps4. I love the new dual shock. Heavier and bigger than the pa3 dual shock. Played FIFA and Knack. Not too impressed by the knack graphics. Knack looks like it could be a high level ps3 game. FIFA looked great. Crowd and the lighting is incredible.

Yeah, that's pretty much how I felt about Knack too. Although, looking at the other displays from 'viewing' distance it looked pretty good. Nothing mind-blowing tho.

I'll probably make some opportunistic holiday purchases, probably only getting Madden and another title or two otherwise.

Will prices drop for Black Friday? The dates me so close has me thinking we won't see a drop. I guess $5 less wouldn't be out of the question. Doubt we see anything go as low as $10 off as we near Christmas.

I think it's reasonable to expect something, but nothing like $30 games. I expect anything that would get me to go stock up or want to deal w/ the crowds. There could be a limited inventory of loss leaders to get people in the doors though, always some hot items like that.

I feel like I lost a lot of hype for every single next gen game except 2k14. Don't know why.

The bf4 beta was only ok , ghosts doesn't excite me neither does watchdogs. Then again I play sports more.

I haven't seen anything further, last I read Sony was looking to make a positive announcement to go along with it... like lining up a replacement PS+ offer.

Anyone gonna hold off until Black Friday to make a few Game Title purchases like Fifa 14, BF4?

Wonder if the WalMart BF deals of $25 will apply to these Next Gen. I would hate to spend $60 on a few titles only to have them drop to $25 on BF

I'm gonna get 2k14 at launch and was thinking about Need for Speed when that comes out. Either way hoping to pick up some of the other games as Xmas gifts or even cheap deals, plus I still want South Park and FFX on PS3 when those come out.

I have a PS4 and NBA 2K14 paid off right now, and I'm not sure if I'm gonna pick up anymore games at launch. I'm kind of interested in a few other titles, but not exactly dying to play them either. I might be able to wait out some deals, especially considering my 360 will still be getting a fair amount of use. I'll see how I feel as we get a little closer though.

Well I had pretty much given up on Next Gen and planned on just flipping my console on the 15th and then the fellas over at 2K decided to release a video today.

I guess there is no point in me checking how much consoles are going for on ebay anymore because I will be sitting in my office at 12:10 am November 15th hooking up my brand new system and getting ready to load in NBA2K14.

I might be able to wait out some deals, especially considering my 360 will still be getting a fair amount of use. I'll see how I feel as we get a little closer though.

Mine will be paid off when I leave work. After seeing the 2k trailer I don't what other games to get at launch besides Madden. I was getting Watch Dogs, but we know how that worked out.

Same here. For the most part I'm a "one game at a time" type of guy (well, aside from online leagues). If 2k plays as good as it's looking right now, then I won't need another game for a looooooonnng time.

With that said, I'm like a woman buying shoes when it comes to online Black Friday video game deals.

The release is what, 2 weeks before Black Friday? The BF ads almost always leak more than 2 weeks before, so you should know if there will be deals before release.
