I was skeptical about it and that's why I had them confirm and send me a email for proof if the system shows up with only one.

So, when I go to my order, click PS4 Launch Edition, the first page it takes me to is the one for the DS4 Launch Day bundle. That one says that it has two controllers in the box. But when I click the normal Launch Day Bundle, it says that I ordered it at the top. That one only has one controller listed. I'm pretty sure which ever one has the yellow bar across the top is the one you're getting.

The one with the yellow bar IS the one your getting. Amazon is just having a issue with the redirect of the launch edition link. It always redirects to the DS4 bundle.

You will not need to have a subscription to PS+ in order to use party chat on the PS4 (or Vita), unlike how Microsoft locks it behind the XBL Gold paywall. Party chat will support cross-console (PS4 & Vita can party chat with each other) and cross-game voice chat for up to 8 players.

Yes you need it to play online with the PS4. Sony has said that PS3 and Vita online play will remain free.

Hi there thanks for taking the time to answer my questions.

On that last one I heard there was a catalog that u can buy ps3 games & use em on the ps4. Well as we know most ps3 games have DLC.


I was asking if those ps3 games will automatically have the DLC with it when u buy them from the catalog or will I need to grab them from my view download list via ps store?

Also do you or anyone know if that headset in.the link I provided will work on the ps4? Thanks again

Yup. It defaults to the DS4 Launch Edition for some reason. The one you're actually getting has the yellow Instant Update bar across the top.

I'm getting the one with one controller, which is fine since that's what I ordered.

Is the DS4 actually out? I know some people said Gamestop told them to come pick it up, but the Amazon page still says it's being released Nov. 15.

It was available like 2 months ago. And dont feel jipped, the DS4 launch bundle cost $460. Same as if you bought the console and a extra controller.

And yes gamestop does have the DS4 in stock to purchase now. You can even order it from their website and it ships within 24 hours. The camera is available as well.
