If Microsoft does the same thing will you skip out on both consoles?Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
This - seems so very strange that the parent company would remove a feature that is so beloved in one of it's most popular titles here in the states -
But I play 2K, The Show, and WWE for the game - adding custom music was always just a nice to have, but definitely not a game-changer(for me at least) Feel bad for the people who do utilize it often though -Twitch - bluengold34_osComment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Honestly, I think I would. At least until there was a significant price drop. NBA 2k14 is the only reason I even feel like I NEED a next-gen system at launch. Just based on principle I feel like I can not go next-gen if both consoles strip key features that are present on current gen consoles. I could use the extra money saved anyway.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Reading through the FAQ again I noticed all disc-based games must be 'cached' to the hard drive - does this imply a temporary storage of game data or something more permanent? I've seen game sizes ranging near the 50GB mark.
If that is the case, it means we can only conceivably install say 8/9 games before we need to upgrade the hard drive. The largest hard drives at the dimensions Sony requires are 1 TB which doesn't exactly make things a whole lot better. This makes the failure to include support for external hard drives a bit of a head-scratcher.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Maybe they have something planned, but haven't released yet. It doesn't bother me at all, but to some of you I can see why it's upsetting.
Removing features is just wrong IMO. Regardless if it's a game or console.Moderator

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I don't care about .mp3's or DNLA. I have a smart TV so I stream everything right to it. Hell I don't even listen to MP3's that much anymore I just stream Amazon cloud or Pandora for that anyway.
I just want the PS4 to be a bad *** gaming machine. Which I think it will be.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Hopefully this is correct.
http://www.thesixthaxis.com/2013/10/...t-cache-space/
That means as you play, it will install and delete data, saving you a lengthy install time and valuable hard drive space. Essentially then, you’ll have at least 400GB of space on your hard drive to do what you want with.Comment
