I know what you are saying. I have never been to a midnight launch at GameStop before so I have no idea how it works there but from talking to my friend who is a manager at my local gamestop he told me that they may start the checkout process at around 6 pm on the 14 th to get things squared away since it will more than likely be a madhouse there. With that said here is my plan for the 14 th.

Get home from work around 5 pm
Help my son with his homework
Eat dinner
Drive to gamestop with my son and hope to be there around 7:30 pm to get checked out and get my paid receipt
Hang out a little with my son at GameStop and just chat with other gamers
Take my son home since he is 13 around 9pm or sooner if there is not much going on since he has school on Friday (his ps4 will be delivered by amazon on the 15th hopefully before he gets home from school)
Go back to gamestop at around 11 pm and wait in line
Pick up my ps4 and go home

As much as I will want to set up the ps4, I'm just going to set it by my tv and wait until the morning to take her out of the box and set it up. I want to get some rest so I can enjoy a crapload of gaming and greatness. Also, I need to help my wife get my kids ready for school.

As I mentioned, I've never been to a gamestop midnight launch before so if anyone who has been to one, I would love to hear of your experiences.

Never forget midnight launch day for COD: Modern Warfare 2!!! I was still in college small town of about 20,000 (15,000 college student) at least a third of those people were in line outside of GameStop police & helicopters on standby and in the area it was a madhouse!!!!

Time flew past though plenty of people talking playing games and stuff.... So funny to see people speeding out of the Gamestop & Walmart parking lot ( right by each other btw) just for them to get pulled over by all the police hiding and waiting lol

My DS4 is being sent via FedEx ... which makes me wonder if my PS4 will be sent via FedEx as well. FedEx delivers early afternoon to my house; UPS delivers early evening. So if it comes FedEx, maybe I should take Friday off.

Hope not wanna pick up COD Ghost, NBA 2K14, and Assassin Creed... Mind you I'm doing this without even having a PS4 preordered... THE THIRST IS REAL!!!!
