Was holding off because I wasn't sure if I wanted to get a PS4 right off the bat because I don't have a game for it I really want right now but decided to pay it off, figured with more and more states charging tax with Amazon I might as well just get it now while Illinois hasn't jumped on the wagon and save that money in the long haul.

Well dammit. One of the features I was most looking forward to in the PS4 won't be available at launch: the suspend mode. I wonder how long it will take for it to be patched in?

Just to give you guys a heads up, I called GameStop today and they're offering 30% extra on games or systems if you trade them towards anything next gen.

My Xbox 360 Slim 250 GB is trading for 70, Madden for 28 and GTA V for 30. After the 30%, I'm getting $159.60 so I can bang out a few games (NBA 2K for sure).

Phobia, you're breaking 2 major rules. First, getting married on a console release date. I get that wedding date was set before announced release, but that doesn't excuse rule 2.

Never ever get married during college football season. Save that for spring/summer.

With that out of the way, congrats and enjoy the honeymoon. At least you can consider the PS4 a wedding gift.

I couldn't resist.

I think being a douche is a requirement to work at GameStop. I was trying to make small talk with the manager while picking up my DS4, and I asked him how many preorders they had. He said that he couldn't tell me. So then I asked what time he thinks I should arrive and he says that he couldn't tell me that either. I told him I'd come at opening then just to piss him off haha.

I agree on the douche part. The guy here did tell me that the Xbox One had 48 preorders and the PS4 only 34 preorders. Said they'd be getting extras in as well. I believe he only told me that because I was talking up the PS4 while checking the DS4 out.
