Damn, so I guess I need to do some more research on the UPS hold idea. From what I read, they said it'll be available around 830 AM, but I suppose that could mean the following day. Ugh, the one downside to Amazon...still worth the $60 I saved with a coupon and no tax.

Sony needs a 3rd person shooter to rival Gears of War. That series is the one thing I'll miss about owning a Microsoft console. Spent a ton of time playing the first three online. Only shooter to ever really hold my interest.

Not to derail the thread, but I really enjoyed Trappers post on Halo.

The only reason I'm confident that Halo 5 will bring the series back to basics is because of how quickly the games' population dropped. At one point, the lead developer even wrote some kind of blog post admitting to a ton of errors. They weren't prepared to release a fully fledge Halo title (the online portion, anyway), and they knew it.

Also, I can only imagine how competitive FPS's will be (Halo, COD, and Battlefield, specifically) with broadcast channels being available for everyone.

Flipping out this morning....my gamestop order got processed for everything except the system and I got an email saying my bank declined the transaction. I called the bank and everything is fine on that end. Now I have to wait for gamestop to open to see what happened on their end.

This better not stop me from getting mine on release day

I hold packages at the facility down near my house all the time. Next day air is available next day (Say I order on a Wednesday, I can get it on Thursday) at the terminal when it opens for pickups at 10 am.

Have had very few problems doing it, they have accidentally put it on a truck for delivery a few time, but usually they let me go meet the driver somewhere near the facility.

Hold for pick up does in fact work.

Man, the last 8 months really flew by... It feels like yesterday that I was sitting in the back of my calc class with my textbook propped up in front of me while I watched the reveal on game trailer's crappy stream... And now we're 10 days from launch

I still remember how excited I was when my mom brought home the GT3 PS2 bundle... all those feels will return when I see the Amazon truck roll up to my driveway on 11/15
