I can't speak for each gamestop but yes, so far the only thing you can not pick up without a pre-order is the console. Everything else GS seems to have an abundance of stock.

He's likely right. Without knowing I had a 2K preorder, they were trying to get me to pick up Ghosts/KZ/2K with my extra credit that I had.

Just to be better safe than sorry, does anyone know 100 percent if you have a preorder at gamestop you are guaranteed a console on the 15th? knowing gamestop i just wanna make sure

Thats awesome..I was at my gamestop today and they told me that they will start pre-ringing on Thursday starting at 6pm. Looks like your gamestop is on top of their game!!

During pre - ringing will they hand out numbers? Or just line up and get your system starting at 12? I've talked to my GS a couple times and numbers haven't been mentioned.

From what I heard, it looks like on Thursday starting at 6PM, my gamestop will start to finalize the receipts and give you a "line number" after your receipt is finalized. They told me they will probably do numbers in groups so I assume the earlier the better. This would be the first time I go to a midnight launch so I am new to this as well. I may go back tomorrow and ask again.

If I can get my line number before Thursday like Slab, id be all over that. Just one less thing to worry about.

Same here. I guess it depends on where you live. I have 4 gamestops within 5 miles from my house. So none of them get super crowded.

Not that it matters for me anyway. I just found out I'm not going to be able to pick up my PS4 until 6:30 pm Friday.

I was read the email that GameStop sent out to store managers about the midnight event. *Disclaimer- this does not mean all Gamestops will follow this verbatim as evidenced by some stores handing out numbers today*

Pre ringing will start at 6PM Thursday. Once you the receive your final recepit(meaning you have paid it in full) you will then get your number in line. *Note-even you have it paid in full prior to pre ring process, you will still need to check in to get final receipt*. Some stores may need to do group numbering also depending on amount of preorders. Once you receive your line/group number, your spot in line is then reserved. You can stay in store and wait or leave and come back closer to midnight.
