Went to my target 40+ year old female in electronics and 22 year old female manager... needless to say, wasn't about to lose my **** tonight over them not making sale on knack, kill zone or call of duty. Went to best buy to price match (they had easports for sale) and the turd I talked to said couldn't price match bundles... not a good day, but I'll eventually get the b2g1 .. my wife was with me so I couldn't fight it til the death like I wanted to. But it frustrates the **** out of me not because I didn't get games (maybe a little) but because these stores just don't wanna take my money. And the people they have managing and working in electronics.. just baffles me how they let easy money walk out.

I'd go digital if I had incentive. But if I'm paying $60 either way, might as well get the physical copy so I can trade it in later.

All managers and supervisors got an email saying not to price match the Target B2G1 deal, at Best Buy that is. You cannot get mad at people for doing what they are told to do. Best Buy policies have nothing to do with the manager/supervisor that makes the call. If the manager or supervisor said no, then well, they're doing what they're told, and myself, as a supervisor, won't price match the bundle as well because I won't put my job in jeopardy over a game. It sucks, but that's the way it is sometimes. Now, if you can get an employee to say they'll match it, then you're set

My incentive is oft - played games and never having to swap disc's to play them. As a result I'm currently planning to buy Madden digitally day 1.

No reason to and there never was. Only digital game I am going with is BF4 because the PS4 upgrade is $10. By the time I am done with this game I doubt there would be hardly any trade in value anyway.

If there were reasons to go digital I would, but there just aren't any.

My local Gamestop was on point for the GTA V release. I imagine my midnight experience at Best Buy won't go quite as smoothly, but we'll see.

I was read the email that GameStop sent out to store managers about the midnight event. *Disclaimer- this does not mean all Gamestops will follow this verbatim as evidenced by some stores handing out numbers today*

Pre ringing will start at 6PM Thursday. Once you the receive your final recepit(meaning you have paid it in full) you will then get your number in line. *Note-even you have it paid in full prior to pre ring process, you will still need to check in to get final receipt*. Some stores may need to do group numbering also depending on amount of preorders. Once you receive your line/group number, your spot in line is then reserved. You can stay in store and wait or leave and come back closer to midnight.

Yes, this is exactly how it was explained to me. I paid mine off a week after I preordered, but I still have to come in after 6pm Thursday to get my final receipt. Then show up at 11:55(ish) and assume my place in line. Then you come in in order and they hand you your bag with all your items in it. Then I check my waistband heading out the door, just in case there's some funny biz lol.
