The ps4 uses sata 2 instead of sata 3 cables so you won't get the bang from you buck with respect to speed per dollar spent because the cable will bottleneck you speed. SSD don't defrag like normal hard drives so TRIM is used on pcs when you constantly write/delete and rewrite to the drive to get rid of drive fragmentation. Without TRIM you would need to constantly uninstall, hook up to pc and trim your ssd to keep it running fast. I would recommend a hybrid Hdd, something like seagate's momentus drives.
They just released a 2tb version. That's probably the one I am going to put in my ps4.
