PS4 is currently going for 600-700 around here. Am I nuts for thinking the price will rise the day after Thanksgiving?

You are taking a chance that Sony doesnt increase production for the holidays. Your best bet imo is launch day.

Everywhere I've lived FedEx has always delivered before 10:30, so if it's not UPS I'm willing to bet he's covered.

Bought my copy from GameStop yesterday. Also have it on order from Amazon as B2GO free offer. Will return sealed copy from Amazon to Gamestop whenever it arrives. Have until 1/15/14 to do this.

Which is why I was thinking the weekend starting after Black Friday would be my best bet at getting more. I imagine a mom or dad will panic after not being able to obtain on at launch or Black Friday.

Again, it's not the end of the world if my plan falls through. I will be just as happy to keep it and enjoy NBA 2K and Killzone over the weekend.

DO NOT DO THIS. I just spent 890+ dollars on amazon gift cards today, and could not apply them to my PS4 orders at all today. Then since I applyed them to my account I couldn't just get them refunded to me. I will have to wait to hear from their CSR for gift cards about getting them refunded. Then when they finally bill my for the two PS4s that will also go on my credit card so for the next two days I will be out an addition 900 hundred.

Why couldn't you apply them? I had no problems applying mine to my order.

I can finally breathe. That was literally the last thing I wanted to wake up to. No one wants to see payment denied we aren't shipping it to you when it's a console I've ordered as soon as it was available in June. I still need to figure out why my bank wasn't getting the transaction through, but at least I can figure that out at my own pace instead of fighting against time before my console is cancelled.

Just picked up 2K, KZ, and Madden at Target during lunch. No FIFA there yet but got Madden to swap for FIFA Friday. Didn't want to wait as they had last copy of 2K.

The guy told me if you want to swap a game to bring all 3 games with so they can give you full refund then you can re-buy the two you want to keep plus the new one.
