I got a DS4 a week or so ago. Does anyone know if I need to charge it for Friday? I've just taken it out of the box once and checked it out and not used it since. Does the battery drain though even when not in use if it's not paired to a system?

Just don't want my buddy to come over Friday night and have one charged controller and another one that's DOA and needs charged.

Sorry, but is this a serious question? Just charge it if you're that worried mate lol. Its not you are going to wear the controller by letting it breath out of its case lol

I think the best thing to do would be just to charge it just to be safe.

Really disappointed with the launch lineup. Killzone underperformed (not to worried about this one, given that most of the complaints don't bother me), Knack flopped, Call of Duty is a badly made port, Madden is no different from CG, AC IV is a better looking version of CG, and NBA Live looks average.

Basically, I'm left with FIFA, NBA 2K, Killzone, and Battlefield 4 to hold me over for another few months of so. Hopefully a lot of the Indy titles are good, because I'll definitely be checking them out at this point. Resogun looks awesome.

I just checked the status of my launch edition PS4 on Amazon and it says estimated arrival of Tuesday the 19th. Just started a chat with CSR to see whats up.

Hopefully, when you flip it, you'll get enough to have 3 PS4's lol.

I wouldn't count on that.
I have heard they are not going for near what people thought they would.
I have seen 4or5 people on here not be able to get $100 more than they paid.

Yeah I don't blame you, I keep checking mine it says shipping (but no tracking available yet) so I want to make sure my date doesn't switch.

Now the wait gets stressful!

Hmmm, like the devil and angel on either shoulder. And she knows id love to have it, especially day 1, that's just me.

Going to be one of hardest things I've ever had to do. Hold that console in my hands and not opening it.... its like the twighlight zone.

You've led a blessed life.

What ever you choose won't be a bad decision. Maybe what you should do right now is set a reserve price for your flip. Set an amount that you could easily live with, if it doesn't reach it then keep it.

The good news is, the last thing Amazon is going to want at this point is for their consumers not to get their console. The next time they have something to pre-order, they aren't going to turn to Amazon.

I agree w flight. I'm rolling with madden as well.
Don't know what to think. I bought mine on eBay from a guy who got it on amazon back when they were 500 bucks. Can't get the dude to really email back very often. Just wanted to know if it is being shipped directly to me or him first.

Yep same here. Prime members usually get their merchandise on the release date without having to pay extra.
