Back from Best Buy. I walked in at 11:30. Two guys camped outside, but they went inside right before me. They had a line for outside but no one was using it. Less than 10 people were there when I arrived. Ten minutes later a flood of people come in, not sure where they all were. Probably close to 100 total people when I left, but I got mine first at about 12:03 (they weren't terribly organized).

Best Buy had 30 pre-orders and somewhere between 50 and 100 extras, which they sold out of. All-in-all kinda surprised there weren't more pre-orders or people there before I arrived.

My brother went to sleep a couple of hours ago, but I'll have a nice surprise for him when he wakes up. Went ahead and got him a PS4 with one day shipping through Amazon.

Thanks to whoever posted that first, glad I was refreshing this page like a mad man.

Just bagged a P4 on Amazon. No joke. Got the launch edition. Was emailed Amazon was selling a P4/Kindle Fire HDX bundle and was looking at the other P4 consoles for sale and was stunned the launch edition was actually for sale. Got it for 399 with free two day shipping (I'm a Prime member). Will have it Tuesday. Didn't have to stand in line and fight off the mobs plus no sales taxes. Awesome

EDIT: didn't bother to read last 20 or so previous posts. what I thought would be surprising news actually isn't. Welcome to yesterday, Blueduke. Apologize for this non earth shaking revelation LOL

I think I'm one of three people registered on OS that doesn't think Madden looks that bad. I think a lot of peoples expectations were WAY too high.

But anyway, My system finally shipped.

Is there a benefit to updating via USB as opposed to just connecting to the internet? Just wondering.
