Anyone else unable to play BF4 multiplayer. It refuses to connect to a game.

Can't connect either. Killzone's working great, though.

On my second PS4, just short of 24 hours since launch and the only game I can okay is Battlefield (single player and online). As for Madden and NBA 2K14, I cannot get past the loading screens. It keeps saying the network is down. I'm done. I'll try again tomorrow.

My internet connection keeps going down on the PS4, but everything else works fine in the house that connect to my router. I wonder if its PSN issues related or what. It is things like this that annoy me with Sony. I understand it is day 1 and they are probably getting slammed, but they should of had an idea of how many people were going to get on day 1 through pre-orders alone. I'll be shocked if MSFT has these same problems come next week, which we know they won't.

I can't connect to the PS Store to redeem PS+. Very frustrating at the moment..

If you haven't yet, you may want to try calling them in the morning. I've had a lot more success over the phone than in chat. Still, that really, really ******* sucks, dude. My situation already pissed me off, but that's infinitely worse. If you can get to a supervisor over the phone and explain that you never asked them to send it back (helps if you have the chat logs) then you'll more than likely get SOME kind of apology in return (meaning credit or whatever).

I mean, I got 40 bucks out of the deal, and you should definitely get that too, if not more after that BS.

Well last time I talked to a manager on the phone and he never called me back. Now I am on the phone again about this situation and the guy isn't really offering anything except 20 dollars toward a bundled PS4... I asked them to just send me back my PS4 they intercepted and he said they can't do that. So somebody else is going to get the PS4 that should be mine... All because Amazon's rep screwed up...

So I finally have my system fired up and im at the menu screens but my menu screen seems like its too big.. like things are getting cut off..am I doing something wrong?

Check to make sure you have the resolution correct in the settings.

Like I mentioned earlier, I like the PS brand a lot and have for years. Since Feb they have done everything right except for these Day 1 PSN issues. These issues are enough to keep people that would just buy 1 console to not cross the line from the Xbox brand regardless of how powerful the PS4 is or the amount of quality exclusives. I'm going away for a few days, so I really hope they fix these issues by the time I get back. I think Sony has done a snazzy job with the UI and I'd love to take advantage of the online features + get to d/l Resogun which I was looking forward to playing.

I changed it to 720 in the menu.. I mean my tv will do full 1080p, but under that or auto settings my menu gets cut off... took it to 720 and now i can easily see everything menu wise.

I found a way to delete my captures

I thought one of the reviews said you couldn't do it, but I found it pretty easy.

I posted it a few pages back. Hit the options button when you are at the captures. The delete function is there

So is it best suited to put it in standby mode when not playing or just power off?

Also since the games are installed do u need your disc in the console to play the game?

You may want to check the aspect ratio too if that's an option, I bought my TV used and hadn't used the HDMI port I plugged my PS4 into and it defaulted to widescreen cinema mode or something. Changed the aspect ratio from wide to 16:9 and I was fine in 1080p settings.
