I'm getting very frustrated with my connection issues. I've never had a connection issue before with my wifi so I know it's not that. Every time I try to download the system update is says "downloading update file." And the bar never moves one bit. Then it tells me it cannot download. This is very, very frustrating. I can't sign into my PSN account because of this and I can do many of the things I'd like to be doing. Geez.

For those getting things going back to home, it is a result of the PSN maintenance. You're probably not seeing the game specific splash screens and what's new feed, right? They should be displaying correctly soon.

I went there the very first time and it was set on automatic.. so then I manually set it to 1080p and it was the same thing.. I took it to 720 and now everything menu wise looks fine.. i would assume my games though will run in 1080 on their own if they were designed to?

Also when the menu content (really stuff at top and bottom) was cutting off.. I went to that resize screen thing but it didnt do anything.. but when I was in 720 it let me resize the screen.

Decided to try an unranked game of Madden and I couldn't tell the difference between offline/online. I can say that is the first time on Xbox 360 or PS3 that I could say that. It ran Flawlessly.

Ding ding we have a winner. This was my biggest concern and I'm super happy with the online. It's obvious Sony listened to us.

Really dumb question, but as a complete Battlefield newbie ...

Trying to play with a friend and we've each created an active mission but for the life of us we can't figure out how to actually enter the mission.

I think I have everything ready to go now.. just letting the controller charge while I order some Papa Johns online (dont judge me.. its the only place delivering in my part of Chicago right now lol)

I had some struggles too with the update, thought I was bricked, downloaded and installed update, got flashing blue light and black screen. Couldn't shut off console had to unplug it. Re booted and decided to play some before I bricked it again, played 2K, it's awesome.

So...I go get a usb stick to do the download, after much frustration and thinking I downloaded the update right it couldn't read the stick (oh also prior I tried a second time to do the system update and got an error) back to our story.

I boot up in safe mode and tried to do the system update through the 2k disc, no go, error, then tried to to the system update through the internet in safe mode, goes part ways, gets error and stops. So again through safe mode I try to update via internet and VOILA! It worked.

I'm updated on PSN, downloading all my free stuff, also Flower is free if you bought it on PS3 and I'm really liking the quad, I have 10 different disc games, thank you Target, plus Target told me to today I could trade back doubles for ANY game up to 90 days since they only had 3 titles left today. So I have 2 copies of NBA and AC4 for a total of 12 games.

It's a shame I require sleep, QUAD 4 Life, LOL.

Alright had some friends come over for the first session. Played 2K14, im in love with the game. Im in love with the console. I should have been went to bed, I gotta get up in 2 hours for work LOL.

Love, love, love being able to plug in my ear buds and get all the sound from the game through the controller. Also, glad I have 3 controllers as I'm sure that is a battery drain.

I'm still unable to download the update. Extremely frustrated. My signal strength is hovering (at the highest) at 60%. What signal strength are you guys getting? I want to be able to do stuff with screen caps and video recording. I'm about to punch a hole in the wall.

All the mute players in 2k My player mode have that Bubba Gump look on their face for some reason.
