Maybe. I was only playing for about 15 mins and had to take care of something so decided to put my ps4 in standby. Its Been like that for almost an hour now. I think ill give it another 5 mins and then ill shut it down with the power button. A little nervous but we shall see what happens.

Not going to be starting a live streaming talk show or anything, but I think The Playroom is pretty damn neat! It's pretty impressive tech, as I mentioned before. The AR portions are very good, and it renders things in 3D space almost flawlessly.

The second screen 'Toy Maker' DLC works great. The objects even reflect light off of each other correctly and the AR bots interact with objects accordingly. I like that everything reacts to your body, and not just the controller (light). And you can draw anything imaginable and have it rendered as a 3B balloon on the screen. And you add items to the screen to your hearts content. It's a perfect time killer, if nothing else.

My 6 year old loves it though. And I have to admit I do as well... In a technology demo way, that is.

I for one was holding out for a ThaSlab based reality talk show so consider me OUT on next gen.

Ok. I rethought it. I'm back in.

I wonder what my chances of landing a PS4 this weekend might be? I live in a small town with generally HUGE video game turn out so I'm thinking the chances may be slim to none.

Question: Are PS4's sales tax free online? If so, is that anywhere or just on Amazon or does the state in live in matter?

I'd be willing to wait and order one with 2K if I could save $32 bucks in tax alone. Not sure. I have $33 in Gamestop Power Up points saved up though.

Or how about this: Gamestop, online, tax free plus Power Up points? Is that possible? Unlike ThaSlab show ofcourse. Which without Playroom is not. Unfortunately.

so i entered the first card (12 digits, case sensitive) how do i know that im good for 12 months? is there any confirmation after entering the 12 digits and press continue?

I just saw on amazon battlefied 4 for ps3 is 24.99. I'm gonna get that and do the 10 dollar upgrade.

For all those with PSN problems, When you go to buy the PS+ subscription from Amazon they have this on the page under the product description..

Just finished a game of need for speed and went to put my ps4 in standby mode and it has a flashing white light. It normally only flashes white for a little bit before going to orange but it has been that way for about 5 minutes now. Not sure what that means. I'm thinking it is updating something and don't want to power it off. Will give it a bit. Has anyone seen this happen?

UPDATE: OK. So, I let the PS4 go flashing the white light for about an hour or so and decided to take a chance and power it down with the power button. I couldn't find anything online regarding the flashing white light so i powered it down. As you would expect, when I turned it back on, it told me that it was not shut down properly and ran through a "disk check" in safe mode. After it did that it powered itself back on and my PS4 was running again. Checked my NBA 2k14 GM file and it looks like it is still in tact. Went ahead and put my PS4 in standby mode again and it went into standby mode (orange light) fine this time around. Hope it was a one time thing

According to PSN the PS3 version comes with a code inside the box to upgrade to the PS4 version. Was there a cutoff date to buy? If not thats a great idea you have there and I may have to grab it too

Its been two weeks in now with my PS4 and so far it's very addictive and fun. Pretty cool to have it in my home to release the daily stress in my life (school,work,etc).

Picked my ps+ card from GameStop, wish I had the extra $30 to get 2 years as they had at least 100 year cards left. Oh well save the $30 for the kids for Christmas already spent over $600 on myself for the ps4 and all the extras but at least I am now good for a year on ps network for only $30

Someone mentioned checking their site in your account for your code. They won't email it for security purposes.

I received my codes today. It took them about 6 hours to charge my card, but as soon as I saw the charge notification, I checked the 'My Orders' section of my GS account and the codes were there almost immediately.

I think they may just have a backlog of orders they need to fill. You should get it before long.

Honestly I'm not sure. But most copies I see in the stores still have that sticker to upgrade to the ps4 copy for 9.99. I think the cutoff to buy the 9.99 upgrade is in March. Hopefully it works or other wise I'll send it back or sell it. I'd rather take my chances than miss out on a ps4 game for 35.

So maybe someone with more connection/networking knowledge can help me here.

I have the Music Unlimited trial. Can I have that run and play audio while I watch television on another input?

Basically have audio playing from the input channel I'm not currently viewing from my television?

I have speakers that I usually run an audio cable to laptop so I can play Spotify off something louder. I guess I would like to accomplish the same but substituting my laptop for the PS4. Maybe using the controller?

Do your speakers have an optical input? You can try running it through your headphone jack in your controller. You have to make sure that you enable sound through your controller in the System/Sound Settings.
