Had a buddy bring his PS4 over to the house this weekend. We had both our PS4's hooked up to different TVs while playing Battlefield 4. Decided to switch to some fifa 14 on the same console.

Lets just say, syncing DS4 is pain in the royal *** now on the PS4! We fought with this for at least a hour trying to switch controllers to a different console then repeat the process again to sync controller back to original PS4 still just as hard.

Turned ps4 on its side and opened the glass cabinet. Now you can hear a pin drop. Anyone have theirs on its side and using the vertical stand? If so, is it worth it?

I have mine in a cab. Bought an external USB fan and cut a hole in the back of the entertainment center. The fan exhausts the hot air out of the cabinet and my PS3/PS4 are barely audible.

My PS4 is kind of loud. The fan comes on after about 10 minutes of play and stays on until I turn it off. Not sure if that's normal or not, I assumed it was. The fan is definitely audible.

The only time I ever hear my PS4 is when the disc drive spins when I start up a game. Other than that I never know its on. I'm also in a smallish(?) enclosed room. My 360 sounded like a spaceship was taking off & I had to increase the volume on my tv because of it & it was in the same spot that my PS4 now sits. No such noise problems with PS4. However party chatting & joining games in BF4 are not as smooth.

OK,this is getting really sad.
I preordered my PS4 from Walmart last week,and it said that it will be here between the 11th and the 20th.

The sad part is that I'm a 45 year old dude,and I feel like I'm 10 again waiting for Christmas...lmao

I went to play nba2k and I can only be spurs vs heat because it shows it installing. Why do I have to install it agian. I had it since it came out?

Was your console off instead of standby? I think there was a 2gb patch.

Yea it was in standby. I took out 2k disc put madden in played it. Put 2k back in to play and it started up like the 1st time you put the disc in...spurs vs heat

I also had this issue. Had to delete the game, unplug from the internet and reinstall while offline.

Then when it is fully installed, turn internet back on to get the latest patch and you'll be be good.

Same thing I did, PS3 standing and PS4 standing right next to each other. Man cave setup.

If I ever get a X1, I'll leave it horizontal and use it as a stand for my PC monitor since it looks like it will work perfect as a TV stand. Soooooo blocky!!!

Naw its not as high as it looks since I had to get on my knees to take the picture so I could get everything in view.

Honestly when the PC chair tilts back and the TV slightly down. The neck rest on chair and feet up, I'm in comfort heaven. Its almost perfect angle to one another.

Now I also have the entire house connected. You can't see under the desk in that picture but a 4 way HDMI switch is mounted. So like this weekend I get bored and want to sit in living room gaming on the 65" then I just go change the input on TV. Same thing with the 46" sammy in the bedroom. HDMI cables and HDMI 4 way installed for whole house. No matter where the wife decides to watch TV, I can game somewhere.
