I am the opposite, all my friends are on Xbox One. Yes not many know me on PS4 but to be honest I actually kind of like it that way. I get kinda tired of every time I get on Xbox Live I meet all sorts of messages and party invites. It's nice to just get on my PS4 and game and not be bothered.

Same, though I'll probably end up getting an X1 down the line because all my friends have one. Need them for Battlefield, CoD, GTA, etc.

I'm thinking in a year or two, I'll have both consoles. That way I don't miss out on exclusives or anything. PS4 will be my sports console plus whatever sweet exclusives it has, while X1 will be my shooter/multiplayer console.

It's nice not to be bothered when playing a full 12-minute quarter game of 2k.

Underrated feature: Using your Dualshock 4 as a flashlight when you turn the lights off in your room.

After having some time with my new PS4...I am in love with this damn thing..lol

After Ghost finally downloaded,I wanted to see what the difference would be graphically from my PS3...well lets just say.....



Ghost looks AMAZING compared to the PS3 version,I never thought I would say this...but it really IS like night and day.

Next game up was NFS: Rivals (took extra DS4 back) and same thing..I was just totally blown away. All I can say is,if the games look this amazing now..I cannot wait to see what's in store in the future.

Oh yea...I noticed during NFS that my DS4 light bar would turn red,what does that mean? that it's getting low?

One last thing...the DS4 HAS to be the perfect controller. My preference was always the 360 controller,but after playing with the DS4,I can safely say that my preference is now the DS4.

Overall? my initial impression of the PS4 console is just it's simply an amazing machine,that will only get better with updates and more games.

Oh yea...I need my women themes also,so get to work Sony and make it happen...lmao

Different games the light will be different colors. On FIFA the light is red as well. On Warframe it was orange and sometimes green depending on what was happening.

I think for certain games they have different order of player indicators. I noticed in the FIFA demo, my controller would turn red. So I think they just used red as first player instead of blue.

I believe I heard the light is your health indicator in Killzone as well.

Could be wrong, but I could swear I saw that somewhere.

I can't get off of bf4! I keep telling myself I'll play a few rounds then slide in a game of madden or 2k, but I haven't been able to. I haven't even opened FIFA. I do love this new system!!!!!

Cowher are you rocking 1080p? When I upgraded from my 720p sammy to a new 1080p sammy I was blown away once again by the difference in some of the games (not all, but some). Killzone, BF4, and AC4 definitely shine on 1080p

yep,I'm running 1080P and it's looks glorious...lol

Forgot to mention,playing Resogun earlier (first time playing) and the first time I heard that voice talking out of my contoller I about **** my britches...scared me to death...lmao

Are you doing work arounds? Or did I miss the update info on them releasing the patch that enables recording devices?

Furthermore (if the latter), does the HD-PVR 2 work as well?

I'm curious what workaround you are using too, 23. I picked up a $99 Elgato on Cyber Monday, and planned to wait until functionality was patched. I may just pick up a monoprice DVI-HDMI converter and try that route until then.
