Now, if your on "the list" your getting a system on release day and it don't matter what number you are on the list?

Not sure about every GS but before they took my $100 they confirmed release day procurement (I'm much thinker than you smart I am). Which likely means 12:45am the day of...have to let the kiddies get in and out before messing with that line

After reading some of the comments about some pre-orders not getting the system on release date, how can i tell if my pre-order is on track for launch date?

who did you pre-order thru?I did through amazon about 15 mins after the conference, then they did the standard and launch thing.I received a email like 2 days afterwards saying my order was a launch, but tonight I called just for the hell of it.She told me at first it was standard, then she looked up item number and said it was launch.I hope she is right because Ill be worried about it until it ships before launch day haha.

Dude adds Killzone to cart, downloads it and starts playing.

EDIT: At 02:41, the girl downloads Killzonefrom her cellphone (app) to her PS4.

It says, "Your order was compete. A receipt will be emailed to you."

Killzone: Shadowfall is a PS4 game, but I think Scooby is talking about their offering of PS3 games through the Gaikai streaming service.

Kinda is, since it is not a representation of actual release, and not as far along as they appear.

In the long run, this wont mean anything. This will have little effect compared to the price difference, and DRM differences on the initial sales.

In about 5 months nobody will care about them demoing on PCs at E3.

I don't care about anyone else. I care about when a game comes out and somehow doesn't look as good, ala Colonial Marines.
