Finally setting mine up. Took a half day from work. Left work and got to Best Buy and realize that I didn't have $130 in giftcards with me so I decided to come home. Our internet had been flaky all week so we had a technician coming out between 1 and 2. Of course he came at the bottom of the hour and stayed until almost 3. Then finally able to go out and pick it up. Made it back home 4 and am setting it up. Also picked up NFS: Rivals and Madden 25 to go along with KZ, BF4, FIFA, and 2K."Never trust a big butt and a smile."-Ricky Bell

Okay my PS4 from Amazon has no signs of showing up at all. It was shipped two days ago and the last thing it said was it was in transit when it shipped two days ago. Zero updates from Amazon and UPS since then. Tracking on UPS shows no info. Already 6:17 p.m. here.Comment

Yeah, same issue here, and we were talking about that in the Twitch stream. My post basically goes over the adventure of trying to figure it out. I got a free month of Prime and 40 dollar credit out of it so you may want to give that a shot, but man am I frustrated right now.Comment

Sure am hitting a wall after the late night. Getting old. 2k is nice but my biggest surprise is probably NFS Rivals. Nice to be able to easily just dial up other streams while on the console, was confused at first that there is no twitch or ustream app, but the combined app is kinda clever.

Okay let me break it down for you and everyone else here. First of all, every game your friend bought was a port. Meaning those games already existed for the current gen and most publishers are going to take the easy route (at least this year) and just "upgrade" the current gen versions to the next gen versions... WITH ONE EXCEPTION... the guys at 2K SPORTS totally rebuilt 2K SPORTS FOR NEXT GEN. The other games that you are going to see feeling more "next gen" at launch are going to be the exclusives.. KILLZONE for PS4 and FORZA for Xbox... this is why when you would see a games like GOD OF WAR, LAST OF US, etc for PS3, they look way better than most 3rd party games on the PS3... soooo here's the 2nd part of my response to you and everyone else...
Outside of first party titles and companies that are pushing it for the gamers with 3rd party titles (2K Sports), you're not going to fully experience what the PS4 and XBOX ONE can really do until we see those same 2nd party titles DIE for the current gen systems. Think about it...what if tomorrow there were no more PS3's or Xbox 360's, or at the very least companies like EA and EA Sports made next year's FIFA and Madden ONLY for the next gen systems.. you would see a MUCH better game (not saying how it plays, just how it at least looks). Reason being is there is nothing to port from.
So with that said, while I LOVE my PS4... we will start to see the true power of BOTH of these next gen consoles until like year 3 or so... it's kinda like when you were a teen and there was that girl that liked you.. she was 15 just like you and she was "sorta cute".. freckels, akward at times, flat chest.. so you move away.. . years later, you run into her at your 10 year high school reunion and now she looks like Kate Upton.. face is amazing.. boobs are.. well.. amazing.. and hopefully shes a lot smarter and more mature than she was at 15. So give most games some time for this system. They look and act like a 15 year old girl from back in the day... but there will be a couple of those girls (just like in your high school back in the day), that already have the body and looks of a hot 25 year old woman.
