Yeah, I got that. But it looks like on here that Battlefield is a must buy, outside of the network crashes which I think are gone now... I do enjoy SOME FPS, like the Goldeneye remake for instance.. MOST, I don't.

Well in that case, then I would advise you to wait for a little bit for the connection issues, crashing and etc gets fixed. You are not really missing anything...heck even by that time they get everything smoothed out Holiday shopping deals should be going on again and you might be able to score a cheap price or even the premium edition if you're lucky.

Only reason I say at this point to hold off, despite me being a big fan of DICE, is that it is good fun until the constant crashes occur after/during each match and your fun will only last so long before it kills your joy you may be experiencing.

Anyone connected to their PS4 via TOSLink Cable (Optical) and get periodic bursts of static/popping? If so is there a fix for it?

Had a good time playing 64 man Conquest in BF4 with a bunch of OSers last night. Marino, CMH, bluengold34, Millenium, etc (I'm missing a few posters).

We need to coordinate and round up more guys because this has the potential to be a blast. Even if you suck like me, it is really fun.

(BTW bluengold34 - you sniped me and I will not forget. Payback's coming )

So I figured i'd ask here instead of the actual forums, seeing as how it's a mess.

Regarding Madden, how much more do individual ratings play into the PS4 version? One issue i've always had in the past is I could never really tell a difference between say an average OLB and Demarcus Ware, other than any difference in the speed rating. I'm loving what i'm hearing, but I really want to see and feel a difference in talent. I want to see dominant defensive lineman acting like a dominant defensive lineman.

I'm really tempted to pick it up, because as much as I love BF4, I get burned out if I play shooters too much, so i'm looking for something to balance this out.

So now that I have had the system since launch and played every title at least a moderate amount, I feel I can chime in on the launch titles.

I love the system, really love it. No regrets at all there.

Gsme wise, I'm bringing back FIFA and Killzone. Maybe ac4

FIFA is awesome, please do not get me wrong, I wish all sports games felt this authentic, but I just do not know anything about soccer and feel lost in any sort of dynasty mode.

Killzone is probably my biggest disappointment. It looks greet but honestly is just not a great game IMO. I think it's average at best.

Ac4 seems fun and maybe I should play more before giving up but I feel like it's a lazy port. I don't think it looks that good and is basically exactly the same as current gen except for higher resolution.

I'm the worst bf4 player ever. I wish I was good. It's fun as hell.

How can you check if it stacks?

Check under your account settings and look under subscriptions. Click on Plus and it will show you start and end dates for it.

I've tried remote play in my house and can not seem to get a decent connection. My ps4 is in my basement and I usually try remote play in my bedroom one floor up. Both are connected to wifi since the modem and router are on the first floor so connecting the ps4 through a wired connection can't happen. Any ideas on what I can do to get a solid connection.

Even though Battlefied is a FPS, it also has a ton of roles you can play that don't involve shooting and can still help your team.

I had 2 kills and 13 deaths in a game last night, but I finished 1st out of 64 players because I was following squad orders, capturing flag points and giving ammo to teammates.

Even if you're bad at the shooting part, you can still have a lot of fun with Battlefield. And you can't really say that about any other FPS on the market.

Maybe if you can try hardwiring the PS4. That's what I heard helps stabilize it.
