Hovering is too much like wallsits and gaskets are for people scared of a little strange pee.

I believe I heard the light is your health indicator in Killzone as well.

Could be wrong, but I could swear I saw that somewhere.

Makes perfect sense, I always look on the bottom of my controller to check my health status.

Furthermore (if the latter), does the HD-PVR 2 work as well?

Are you doing work arounds? Or did I miss the update info on them releasing the patch that enables recording devices?

I'm curious what workaround you are using too, 23. I picked up a $99 Elgato on Cyber Monday, and planned to wait until functionality was patched. I may just pick up a monoprice DVI-HDMI converter and try that route until then.

Yep, got a cheap splitter from amazon. You don't need to use a DVI cable of course so I skipped the monoprice workaround. Every splitter that I saw that did actually work are all sold out and have been for weeks, and I found one that only 1 person I knew of that works so I ordered it and hooked it up last night since it just came yesterday and it worked with no problems.

It bypasses the HDCP so im 99.9% sure it works with the HD PVR as well. I have the original one matter of factly but just dont want to deal with the component cables.

I've never heard of splitters bypassing HDCP. I have a splitter, though I only used it because the DVI thing had trouble with 3D so I used it to pick up 3D when necessary.

I wonder if said Monoprice splitter will work then...

Wow, then what the hell am I doing with this converter and all this nonsense to work around the audio issue? Yikes.

Thanks, I'll give it a look and see if there's anything I can do with it.

Oh, and that guy's message was originally in Vietnamese. OS doesn't accept some of the characters he used so they get thrown in as question marks and other mumbo jumbo.

I've never heard of splitters bypassing HDCP. I have a splitter, though I only used it because the DVI thing had trouble with 3D so I used it to pick up 3D when necessary.

Like 23 said the mono price splitter will work. It's an awesome device.

From what I know, there are so few you can count it on one hand. Most of the few on amazon are sold out..like all of them lol except the one I have.

The other you can get is the monoprice one but I chose the one I have because its cheaper and I dont have to use a DVI plug
