PlayStation 4 Discussion

Yeah man, Its horrible. And we've had nothing but problems with it. We've had to have techs out here 3 times in the past year. I usually sit around 5-7mb.



I did forget to mention that the price includes a land line. We don't even use it though. But we have to have it for our security system.



I've done everything but beg them to let us out of our contract. I can get 50mb with Time Warner for $50 as well. The second the contract expires I'll be canceling.



It would be nice to steam games. My buddy lives a couple hours away and he isn't getting a PS4 until The Show comes out, but would like to watch me play some games.

That's insane. Mines not even on contract. I was paying $50 for 5mb but Cable One was offering $50 for 50mb so I took it. You get something like 300GB a month and if you go over they just slow it down. I think since ATT uverse just came to town made them redo their prices.

Paying $50 for 5mb was terrible but they were the only option since I live in a weird place.

Yeah its the same where I live. We still don't have uverse here. All we have is Time Warner and the DSL company Windstream so that's what I got since we needed the phone line anyway. We got a discounted price for the first 3 months too so I was like might as well do that.

But I've vowed to myself I will never get internet or cable on a contract again.

My upload speed is 4.87MB and I can stream on BEST perfectly fine as long as I am wired.

*I stream offline fine on wireless and online games (madden) wired.

Ehh your streams aren't that great. Picture freezes while the audio maintains.

Some of your guys' upload speeds are insane. I'm lucky if I get 5mb.

I have one year left on a horrible 2 year contract. I'm paying $70 a month for 12 down and 3-5 up. I rarely get either.

I haven't even streamed yet. Figured it would be crappy anyway. Now hearing this, I might as well not even try.

I pay 50 for 30MB download with 3upload

Don't think you've been watching my ones that are wired. My last few have been wireless.

I know it's super smooth because I watch them on my laptop as I play lol. Plus others have told me.

Damn that's bad. I get up to 100mbs, but I average between 75-90mbs..

This is going to sound strange, but the reason I have not been playing my PS4 as much as I expected is Derrick Rose. Yes, blame Derrick Rose and his knee!

Reason being, I am a hardcore Bulls fan going back to the late 80s. With him going down this season yet again, it was just so deflating as a fan. After waiting over a year for him to come back, for him to go down again, it sucked. To go from a top 3 team in the East to a team that is purposely tanking, there is no excitement around the NBA this year for me. This has carried over to NBA 2k. My NBA excitement this year has just vanished, and 2k was the game I was most likely to play the most. This has taken a lot of my interest away from NBA gaming this year.

I have mostly been playing WWE 2k14 on my 360 again, which is an incredibly fun game. Can't wait to see what they do with that series on the PS4.

I have BF4 and AC on my PS4, and I play them here and there. But I am a sports gamer first and foremost. I have thought about picking up Madden for the PS4, but the mixed reviews have scared me away.

I can't wait for The Show to come out, though. I've never played that series, having always been a 360 owner. I know my PS4 will get a work-out then!
