I think y'all are saying the Same thing.

If you download a free game on PS+ (just starting the download for one second is all u need to do) then you can forever download the game for free.

If you miss downloading the game during time it was free, you can't get it for free once it's no longer offered for free on PS+.

Actually you don't even have to download it. Simply buying it will add it to your library and allow you to download it whenever you want.

I'm getting a little bit of stuttering on my PS4. Noticed it in the UI and again during some of the cutscenes in Injustice last night.

Strangely, this has only happened after rebuilding the database a few weeks ago. I'm going to try to rebuild it again to see if that fixes it. I did have an issue last week where I accidentally turned my UPS off with the PS4 in standby.

Fellow OS'ers...Had a quick question...So I updated my PS4 to the mandatory 1.61 patch. After a few minutes of playing NBA 2k14, my disc ejected itself and no longer allowed me to put a disc into the unit (i.e. the 'eject' mechanism would turn on every few minutes and would not allow me to load a disc). I finally found a way to make the unit let me put a disc in was by unplugging the unit and then placing it vertically. But I assume that this is only a temporary fix and will most likely happen in the near future, so I put in a call to Sony and they are sending out the 'coffin' via FedEx to get my unit. They explained that all they could do is have me send it to their service center and they would send me a replacement unit.

This issue only popped up a few minutes after I did the mandatory 1.61 update. Not sure if any other OS'ers experienced this, but wanted to check with fellow members. Sony customer service was better than I expected. Didn't have to wait too long to get a service rep and I suppose this issue has been brought to their attention previously since their was no hassle on his end and his immediate advice was that they would send me a new unit. So far, I'm satisfied. Lets see how long it will take them to get me the FedEx box for return of my unit and how quickly the new PS4 gets in my hands.

Was wondering....I got this PS4 on 'Black Friday' at WalMart. Still have the receipt with all manuals, etc. Do you think they will do an exchange or in-store credit? Any feedback would be greatky appreciated.

The Swapper, Outlast DLC, and Dead Nation (possibly) coming to PS4 in April/May.

I had a blast playing Dead Nation co-op with my brother on the PS3, especially with the custom soundtrack feature. The NBA2K playlist here on OS was perfect for that game. Nothing like mowing down zombies while HERE COMES THE HOTSTEPPER is blasting through the streets of an apocalypse

Still hoping they bring it back!

Found this for those that have had the disc ejecting issue.

When I start it up the light is blue for a few seconds then turns white and doesn't change, It also is constantly trying to eject the disc, So I can't put any discs in it.I've tried booting it in Safe mode and updating it, And it still keeps doing it. : (

It seems like it's fixed now, The manual eject screw got bumped during shipping and I had to tighten it. Fingers crossed nothing else happens.

It's a tiny screw that's inside the PS4, Sony customer support told me it's a common issue.

So I'm switching back...had to order a bundle through GS though and it won't be here until the weekend or Monday.

Question is, I'm a PS+ member...will Outlast still be there for download even though February is up?

If you're a Plus member, do it online right now. Just add it to your cart and finish the "order". Once your order has been confirmed, you don't need to download it. You just need to have "purchased" it before it is removed from Plus. You can download it when you get the system.

Traded in 2k14 today and picked up the gold headset and Thief. I like the headset so far and Thief is not that bad. I was really needing something new to play.

I haven't beaten it yet or anything, but from what I have played I enjoyed the little shadow mechanic. Nice fresh change of pace from that game.

I think you're tad out of the return window. Pretty sure its 15 days for electronics like that. But it couldn't hurt to call and ask.

If not, Sony should send you a new system.

I don't know about your Wal-Mart, but my Wal-Mart takes whatever without a receipt, as long as they sell it.
