Before the update I was having the same issue with battlefield not recording the most recent 15 minutes. After the update though anytime I push the share button it saves the correct clip I was trying to save.

Hmmmm. Gonna try this out and see if it works tonight

I haven't even run the update yet. That's whats strange. I did delete all my videos and then jumped in a game and recorded it after about 10 minutes "Forcing" it take a recent capture. Not sure if it's a cache issue or what.

Ok Finally pulled the trigger on a PS4 for the show 14 but only paid $299.99 through Amazon as I used my $50 Discover points and opened some Amazon c Card that rewards me $50 on first purchase that I will cancel in a month .

I also opened a free 30 day prime account to get free 2 day shipping so it should be here Monday .

I am one who is not bothered by the powerful blue light, but I changed it to dim and noticed very little difference.


So the record button will record 15 minutes after I hit the button, so I can get previous things in the last 15 minutes?

After I hit the share button I always make sure to click on the clips which takes you to all of your clips and then a notification pops up that the clip was saved.

Some mysterious images from forum 4chan popped up today, allegedly for a game tentatively titled Project Beast. A number of screenshots have been posted on the forum along with information from the anonymous poster saying that the game is a From Software/Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Studio joint for PlayStation 4. The poster also claims that this game is by Hidetaka Miyazaki, the director of Demon's Souls and Dark Souls.

Maybe the issue here is you don't know you can cut from the fifteen minutes of recording?

I'm going to assume this is the problem.

When you hit the share button to ask the console to save the last fifteen minutes, you can find that save and make cuts to it.

You just find the capture, go into edit, and find your amazing one minute play and make a replay of it.

Just a heads up - I mentioned the game audio was really low when I tried to stream Child of Light, and thought it might be a mic or an option issue. It's the game - for some reason the audio is just really low on that game, similar to how it doesn't play at all for NBA2k. The audio still works fine for Madden and several other games I've tried.

Makes some sense, remember the Demon's Souls 2 rumors that Atlus shot down? Maybe the rumors weren't so wrong, they are just cutting Atlas out of the game so it's not going to be a Demon's Souls game because Atlas retains some publishing rights for sequels in NA.

You don't need Facebook.

It's on your console. I don't have it in front of me but in your profile (I think) you can view your video and screen captures.

From there you can edit your content. I've done this several times.

Consider the share button like going into NBA 2K replay and having the ability to save something that happened in the last fifteen minutes.

Replay features in games typically save about a minute, right? So share let's you save fifteen. Then from there you can find the clip you want and edit it down to the minute - less or more - that you want.

It can all be done on the PS4. Then using the Sharefactory, you have even more power over those captures. But I haven't used the factory yet to comment on how it works.

For those of you who are downloading mlb the show 14 digitally better hope word gets to sony that the retry option to resume a download that stopped which was there before the 1.70 update gets put back in.

Either that or hope you can download the whole game in a one shot deal with no psn download errors like 31194-8 from their network or you have to completely start over from the beginning. The only option now if a download stops from a psn network error is to delete and start over.

Maybe they are still working out some kinks, because at least the friends list slow loading or error has worked better as days have past.

The video captures themselves are at 720p (and compressed), so enabling 1080p in ShareFactory would be pointless.
