It was an unique experience, but no game I have played has ever given me a worse case of motion sickness than Flower. I finished it, even getting all of the trophies the game had to offer, but I had to do it in extremely short doses because playing any longer than 10-15 minutes had me feeling queasy.

We'll I don't have any digital d/l's yet.... I just got my ps4 not even a month ago just bought it july 5th.... only thing I have d/l to it is madden 25, Netflix... I think I have like 439 gb's left now.

Just Installed a 1TB Hybrid I got off Ebay for less than $50. Reinstalling games now. Gonna get portable USB 3.0 Case and use that for Xbox One. Now each will have 1TB for about a total of $60!

I traded my xbox 360 + ps3 plus all my games for 435 $ to words a ps4. I think it's a very good deal. Now they want that you switch, I don't think it will be so good deals in Winter. I play FIFA and MLB all summer long, maybe I pick up madden 25 before release date of Madden 15. It will be dirt cheap. My sale pitch was Assassins creed Unity, can't wait until release. In the moment are not really blockbuster released on ps4. I don't understand xbox or ps4, if they had gta v only for next gen, I bet last year would more switch.
I don't no last of us and gta v for next gen this year, it's too late. Too many played it on 360 or ps3.

Okay, I'm sick of missing out on deals. Today Best Buy is offering the KZ bundled PS4 for $430 with a 12-month PS+ subscription (which would last me through 2018 then haha). I won't be passing this one up. Expect me to be a PS4 owner by this evening.

Here's a stupid question:

If I got a KillZone: Shadow Fall bundled PS4, would I be getting a launch PS4? Or better yet, are there any newer models/builds out now that I'd possibly be missing out on? Not necessarily something that would be publicized, but like even televisions these days show the month of their build and it would make a difference, even in the firmware that it comes with, etc.

That's a good deal. You basically save $60 and if you end up trading in or selling Killzone, you'll save even more. There arent any newer models but you wont be getting a launch console. Chances are the manufactured date will be between March 2014 and May 2014. I purchased my PS4 in May and it was manufactured in March 2014.

The game isnt packed in. They just add it as if you buying it along with the console.

In a week or so let me know how you like the hybrid.

Mine gave awesome loading times but for some reason in-game I experienced judder and streaming issues. Maybe my drive was faulty. I went to a 1.5tb standard drive and it got better.

I haven't read any issues anywhere else though. Hybrid seems to be the consensus best pick for PS4 storage everywhere.

Nothing confirmed yet, but it sounds like Flower might be the (or one of the) PS4 game(s).

Great game. Very different, but I loved it.

I don't want any more of these cutesy, unique games! Gimme something bad *** with tons of violence dammit. A decent big name game not some indy stuff.

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure flower was a fine game but I don't want that junk lol.

I think the most fun I've had with a free game so far is Resogun or Strider

Outlast was a pretty good freebie too

Hope to get Knack free at some point

Okay guys, I'm a PS4 owner. So far the games I have are:

- KillZone: Shadow Fall
- LEGO Marvel Super Heroes
- Zen Pinball 2
- Resogun

Going to get The Last of Us: Remastered tomorrow.

Super short impressions: I'm not like super wowed, but I'm super excited, and for me that's more important. I tried Remote Play, and in my house it's actually super serviceable, which is nice. Probably not for baseball games, but KillZone was possible on it. Controls were tough (heck, they're tough on the PS4 version as is), but it was actually playable.

Not the same as playing on my 59" plasma, though. Ya'll, I need to let you know this, too... get a DarbeeVision Darblet. You'll thank me later. The visuals pop just that much more, it's great!

Anyway, I'm fiddling around with KZ single player, and I finally beat the "first level" or whatever. I realized that I'm pretty bad at FPS games in general, but especially single player. I'm about to check out multiplayer, and if it's anything like KillZone: Mercenary (Warzone mode), I think I'm going to have a lot of fun!

This is the earliest I've ever bought a console near launch, and I think TLoU tipped me over the edge. Looking forward to GTA V, LBP 3, and NHL 15 later this year, and possibly NBA 2K15 and MLB 15: The Show next year. I'm sure there are many more, but those are just the "What I gotta get here and now."

I finally took off the shrinkwrap to Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus yesterday and I revived APF 2K8 after the NFL 2K comeback talk, so my PS3 is still going to be getting plenty of use. But for now, this is the shiny new toy in the home, so I'll give this a little bit more time for the next ten days while I still have summer vacation.

By the way, my 1.5TB HDD will arrive on Wednesday. I'm sure the swap will be easy, but will transferring everything be easy as well (downloads included)?

I've been pretty let down by the PS4 PS+ games as well, just a lot of duds in there:

Contrast OK game, really short. Forgettable
Resogun Not my thing
Don't Starve Not a horrible game, lost interest fairly quickly because of slow pace and starting from scratch
Outlast Not bad, sat it aside until I finally bought a headset, should probably give it another go
Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition meh. Was already free on PS3, was mediocre then
Mercenary Kings Huge let down, art style was great, gameplay was OK, set up of game was horrid
Stick It to the Man! Never got around to playing it, should though.
PixelJunk Shooter: Ultimate (cross-buy) Meh, not a big fan of these
Trine 2: Complete Story Another PS3 freebie rehash
Doki-Doki Universe (cross-buy) Never could pin down WTF this was supposed to be, haven't played it
Strider Thought this was very mediocre
TowerFall: Ascension Pretty simplistic, too simplistic for my taste. Really only good for local co-op, which is like .0000001% of my gaming time


All the PS4 free games and my take. Maybe the life of PS3 PS+ games have just spoiled me, but to say the PS4 free games have been a let down would be an understatement.

I believe that yes the PS3 PS+ games have spioiled us a lot. Just not the amount of games yet for PS4 to compete with what we got/get with the PS3+.
