Looks like a very strong lineup, but got suckered into carrying some of the small channels to get the big boys. Sadly, no ESPN or Turner. Rumors of the price being in the $60-80 range may price itself out of being an alternative to cable. Either way, competition against cable is good!

Looks like some solid free titles next month. I've been wanting Transistor for a while, nice to see that my patience is being rewarded.

Looks like a very strong lineup, but got suckered into carrying some of the small channels to get the big boys. Sadly, no ESPN or Turner. Rumors of the price being in the $60-80 range may price itself out of being an alternative to cable. Either way, competition against cable is good!

Yeah, it was always going to be an apples-to-apples Cable-equivalent service rather than a bargain service w/ some essentials and options that SlingTV is aiming for due to the number of channels.

When you 'address it' every 2-3 days and in response to every small bit of news or information is when you start to get terse responses. Why this is a discussion for the PS4 thread now too I have no idea.

Because PS4 just announced Spotify is why it's being talked about here..

Have no interest in PlayStation Plus but will comment on a few of the games that they're offering for February.

Rogue Legacy
I was going to buy this game last summer when it was released as I thought it was going to be a Super Ghouls N Ghosts type game but the permadeath and rogue like elements turned me off completely. I know a lot of people like this stuff but I would have preferred it to be a straight forward Ghosts type game. Would have definitely purchased it if it was.

Transistor
Another game that I was going to buy but the strategy elements turns me off. If it was like a pure hack and slash action adventure game, I would have purchased it already.

The two above games are great games though if you enjoy what both games offer. Sadly, I simply don't.

Apotheon
This is one game im definitely interested in buying. Waiting on the price and walkthroughs on YouTube to see if it's worth buying. Reminds me of Outland which was my 2011 game of the year. The only thing is that the combat in Apotheon doesn't look as fluid and responsive in the videos that I have seen. Hoping that's not the case in the final release.

Looking for another non-sports game to add to the library. Right now have MGV V Ground Zeroes, The Last of Us and Tomb Raider.

What non-FPS game (camers bothers me too much) should I look at getting?

No love for rogue legacy? That's the game I'm looking forward to most.

Don't worry, I ****ing love me some Rogue Legacy.

Everybody should. It's super frustrating, but just unadulterated fun.

Nice. Reminds me of 3D Dot Game Heroes (Zelda - Link to the Past) in regards to being a homage to one of my favorites from the SNES/GEN era.

Sadly, I don't play games on PC but at the same time, for free, would definitely play the game but I didn't see the system requirements listed anywhere in that url. Do you know the system requirements? Thanks.

Your OS needs to be Windows or Linux.

As long as you've got one of those installed, you could probably run the game on any computer built in the last 10 years.

If you didn't buy it and are avoiding it based on on the words "permadeath" and "roguelike" you're missing out on a brilliant game. It's not punishing at all, and progress is actually kept in a fun way.
