Agreed! The first one is still awesome even if it is the weakest. It's fairly short so blow through it. Worth it

Just wanted to say a big thank you for all of you whom mentioned the Sony Golds (wireless). Honestly straight up game changer and sound better than I even imagined.

I'm here little sounds and steps I didn't previously hear on Black Ops 3...I forgot how much headsets really add to the experience.

I was lucky enough to jumped on them on Cyber Monday with just minutes left on Amazon for 49.99.

I love how some devs take advantage of the app and release settings for there particular games.

Yeah I feel like the Gold's come up in this thread once every few weeks. They almost deserve their own sticky saying "For the price, you can't beat the Golds, period."

Also, for guys who just got them, I think you update the firmware thru the app. I know I did that somewhat recently and it seemed like my mic improved after but maybe I am imagining things.

Played through Journey last night.

What an experience. It didn't immediately grab me out of the gate, but about half an hour in I was hooked. The sand surfing part is an amazing moment, especially when you are sliding by the pillars. That moment gave me chills.

This is on my list to play, for sure. Completely different games, but I didn't like Everybody Has Gone to the Rapture, so I wasn't in the mood to experiment with another game I was unsure about right away.

God I hate this damn media player. Suddenly it decides to not play songs it has played dozens of times before. Maybe they got corrupted? So I plug my USB HDD into my computer and replace those songs, media player still refuses to play them. So I copy the folders over in the root part of the drive, folders have to be in a music folder or else it just won't see an MP3. Really? So I move those folders into a new folder in the music folder so they are now a new folder. Plug my HDD back into my PS4, still won't play the songs.

Note these are songs the media player has already played multiple times, songs that are played by everything else I throw them at.

I hadn't noticed this until tonight, but if you purchased PSN avatars on the PS3, they show up on the PS4 avatar list now. They didn't show up before.

Edit: And I didn't even notice that they had added PS4 avatars to the store. I need to hit the store more often.

I almost ordered that one off of Best Buy yesterday, but they didn't have the slim one to pick up in-store, which I am guessing it needs to be the slim model.

I got that best buy one long long long long time ago and looking at my case it just says backup plus portable. It does not say slim.

I really love the Golds. However, just a warning to everyone who has them because of what happened to mine. The connector by where the headset folds is held in place by a metal rod behind a thin piece of plastic. One of those busted through when I was taking them off my head with one hand. I wasn't ripping them off my head either. Just take care and use two hands to make sure they're loosened up and you're not putting any strain on that joint. My pair still works, I just have to be really, really careful now when handling them and have to snap it back into place once in a while. Also, if you are having problems with the mic being super quiet online, plug the set into the controller so that it's not in true wireless mode.
