I think games like Heavy Rain would be a good remaster option. Metal Gear Solid 4, Red Dead Redemption(good option since new game is coming out next year), maybe GTA 4, COD MW2, Max Payne 3(definitely lol)

Man I would love Max Payne 3 & Splinter Cell blacklist.. Lol. I'm big on 3rd person shooters..

Random, but what games would u guys say are "must play" for a new PS4 Pro and 4k monitor owner? I definitely will be playing Horizon (for the first time) and re-visiting Last of Us.. Anything else I should Definitely check out?

Are you new to PS4 or transitioning from PS4 to Pro?

Either way Ratchet & Clank should be near the top of any either list.

Rise of the Tomb Raider is gorgeous in 4k/HDR; that, and Zero Dawn are at the top of my list.

Just new to the Pro. I have plenty PS4 games in my digital library (Uncharted 4, Witcher 3, Metal Gear, Sports & racing games, etc.) just was curious which ones really wow people.

Man, on my new Pro & 4k monitor, I tried Ghost Recon Wildlands, Rise of Tomb Raider, and Madden 18 last night. I didn't notice much difference in a very short time with GR, but Rise of the Tomb Raider looks PHENOMENAL in 4k, and Madden looks like real life. Very impressed so far! I can't wait to start Horizon soon.

Ratchet & Clank is the best looking 4K game for PS4 Pro and a 4K monitor

I would love a NCAA 14 remaster. But I don't think that would happen since legal issues with NCAA. I dont think EA still has the NCAA license, but they used the 2 teams so maybe they compensated them. But they have to wait until NCAA resolve the compensation issue with athletes. While other sports games would be almost impossible to remaster if they don't have the sports license anymore.

EA lost the license days before 14 was even released.

No, I wish, but they're just not in my price range at the moment. I went with the very popular LG 27UD69PW. I'm very pleased with it. I hope to upgrade to an HDR monitor next year when the prices chill out.

Weird, was just thinking about an L.A. Noire remaster last weekend.







I'd love a new detective game. Hell, just give me L.A. Noire 2. It can be similar to the first game but deeper and less linear with choices being more meaningful leading to different stories and more endings. I don't feel like that's too much to ask this day and age.

Murdered: Soul Suspect is a decent detective game.

Finally picked a Pro to go with a Samsung 4K. Any quick tips for settings? I realize they're strewn throughout this forum and I will go back and read, but anything you wanna offer right here would be appreciated.

Congrats! I have a KS8000 60" and love it with my PS4 Pro.

First rule of tv settings is ADJUST TO TASTE. You'll find some very useful guidelines for general setup here:

Watch those first, digest the information and take notes from the youtube video, then start fiddling. Again, don't forget one man's awesome picture is another man's crap picture, so adjust to taste.
