PS3 startup question

Hi Guys,

I have a question about the screen you see right before it changes over to your preferred color of wallpaper ( or photo ) I have attched a pic here to view. Is this screen normal on startup? I tried using the wifes dslr camera to take the pic, its the first time I have ever used it,lol. Im not the best at taking pics but Im sure you know what I mean. I dont have any problems with my ps3 woth games or picture just wondering what those funky colors are on startup

Yeah, that's normal. I think it's the default background if you don't choose a wallpaper/theme.

The colors change throughout the day by default, or you can set it to stay on a certain one.

Cheers Yeah it is the default background. I did change it to a blue one now though

Again just a follow up question fellas. I notice whatever color I set it too that it appears to be a lighter hue at the bottom then top? I assume that's also normal on the menu screen as I dint have any problems with colors in game or for my tv for that matter.

Yep, that's normal.
