360 won't recognize controllers

Basically, my 360 won't recognize any of my controllers. None of them have been synced outside of my home and they are all wireless. I had this problem with one controller, then another, then the last. What I can confirm:

1) Wireless controllers won't sync.
2) Wireless controllers hooked up via the USB cable won't work
3) USB ports do work otherwise

Any suggestions?

Found this via Google, probably resets that process or something:

I solved this problem by calling 1-800-4MY-XBOX and talking to one of the higher up's. What I had to do was hold down the sync button on the front of the xbox (with the xbox ON) for 30 seconds, or until the light stops spinning, and turns off. Then I had to turn off the xbox, and unplug the power supply from the xbox, the cord from the power supply, and the cord from the wall, and then remove my hard drive and wait for a minute. Then I hooked everything back up and it worked fine. This works if wireless and wired controllers won't sync up with the xbox 360.

If you can't get that working, I'd call like he did.

Interesting. Some of things seem redundant, but I'll definitely try it, thank you. My Google search didn't give anything that helpful.

I guess months ago I unplugged it, so last night I plugged it back in and tried to re-sync it normally and it just worked... problem solved I guess. Either way, thanks for the help.
