Did he say "Those gamers that aren't plus members can still enjoy single player gaming". Is that essentially saying that you need plus to play online, thus a subscription? Or did hear that wrong? Or did he misspeak?

What he did was an excellent job at wording bad news lol. Microsoft should take notes on that.

Online multiplayer needs PS+, but video services do not. So paywall is only for online multiplayer.

From the sound of it you will need PS+ to play online multiplayer.

You heard him right. He tried to sneak it in there so they wouldn't make a big deal of it.

I mean it's really not that big of a deal to me, but they really did try and sneak that in lol.

If this enables them to get a lower price point then paying 5$ for multiplayer is something I can deal with.

It does suck about online, but if it means a $350 price I'm all for it. I'd probably end up getting it anyway for the free games.

I was getting a PS4 anyway but this just sealed the deal!!! Sony is going to destroy this next gen in a good way!!
