Xbox One hardware issues?
Who here believes that the Xbox One will be hit with a lot of hardware issues early on just like the 360?

One of the biggest reasons I switched to PS3 and will starting with a PS4. The 360, while excellent for online play and a cozy controller; I had to send it back too many times. Besides I'm a bit more fond of Sony's exclusives along with the perks of PlayStation Plus.

There was an article that was recently released about MS wanting the XBone to withstand being left on for 10yrs straight.
Microsoft can't afford to do another 3 billion dollar warranty claim with the XBone. I think their lesson was learned.BeyondMediaOnline.comComment

If the console fails I have much more faith in MS to own up to it and fix it compared to their competition requiring class action suits to do anything about it.
Ideally we don't have any issues with their offering this time around.Comment

Sony is the only console maker that charged me (or wanted to..I refused) to fix a known issue.
MS and Nintendo both repaired (Nintendo gave a brand new system) for free.
1 issue with my launch 360 that was well taken cared of and it's still going strong right now. I've recently opened it up and dusted off the inside.
So I'm not worried if XBOX1 has issues.Last edited by Skyboxer; 08-26-2013, 02:10 PM.Joshua:

I would agree. I think MS has learned and the Xbox One is more designed to not really need the fans ideally. It won't be a problem, but if it was then MS is more equipped to handle it quicker and better than it did last time. I wouldn't let this decide which to purchase IMO. I'm still deciding too lolSony is the only console maker that charged me (or wanted to..I refused) to fix a known issue.

The 360 Slim doesnt have hardware issues, the PHAT Jasper didnt. I would suspect Microsoft has figured it out. Hardware issues wouldn't be a concern for me.It’s easier to do the right thing, than to explain why you didn’t.Comment
