Hello, Lately I haven't been getting the joy I used to have with my 360. Meaning not liking the graphics and overall experience, I've had my 360 for roughly 3 years now and want a change...But There's one thing IDK if it's worth it. I'm a big Sports fan so on the 360 I'm missing out on MLB the show... Also want to try other exclusives like uncharted. Just want some overall opinions on this it's now official that I'm gonna switch, it has to go by my parents first until I can make the move to the PS3. I would like some feedback if you can! Thank you

Yes, the online gaming is free.
However, after you have been on xbox live, you may notice that some of the games lag a tad bit more than when using MS's service. It's by no means bad! Hopefully you have a decent internet connection for online.
The PS3 is a good system and has some good exclusives.
Their PlayStation Plus program is awesome and well worth the $50. MS doesn't have anything like it.BeyondMediaOnline.comComment

I was thinking of the super slim 250gb console, And Maybe the Plus program. I don't want the cost to sky rocket by all means, Would like the PS Move, MLB the show and an extra controller as well, MS service as been crappy and a waste of my money and my parents money.Yes, the online gaming is free.

Yeah there are some better exclusives, especially since Gears of War and Halo are on the downslide. The online is free, but it's not as smooth as the 360 because they don't use regional servers. If you're a subscriber,PlayStation Plus is a nice feature. $18 for three months and you get free game downloads to some pretty cool game, plus other discounts. You can keep the games you download as long as you're a subscriber. Right now Uncharted 3 happens to be one of them. Not sure if that will still be the case by the time and if you make the switch.Comment

I will have to negotiate with my parents, mostly my mom lol hopefully around the holiday season.... I would pay the 18$ as i pay 25$+ Tax for 3 months on xboxYeah there are some better exclusives, especially since Gears of War and Halo are on the downslide. Well the PSN+ will be good for a year so if you get it in that amount of time you will still have PSN+ time left of course. PS3 is a great system. Great exclusives and PSN+ offers a lot more.Comment

Re: Thinking about Dumping my 360 for a PS3
In general, multi-platform games on the 360 have better graphics. The PS4 is more powerful and is capable of having better graphics, but most developers dont use the additional rersources needed to achieve this.Meaning not liking the graphics and overall experience
Yup, the PS3 have better excluives imo. Sony have 12 worldwide studios that only make Playstation exclusives. Games like The Last of Us, Uncharted series, God of War series, Infamous series, Killzone series, Little Big Planet series, Heavy Rain, Journey, Resistance series, etc. are games only for the PS3 and should not be missed.I feel Like PS3 Has better Exclusives and is a better overall experience
Better overall experience? Eh, I dunno. Personally I never owned a 360, but from what I've seen Xbox Live is a much better online experience than PSN. Of course, you have to pay $60 per year. PSN does have PS+ which is an awesome service that offers free games every month....and not only crappy game, triple A titles like Battlefield 3, Hitman Absolution, Sleeping Dogs, etc. Overall though, I'm happy with my PS3.
Yes, but starting with the PS4 you'll have to subscibe to PS+ to play games online.is the online gaming free??
Edit: Dam, by the time I was finished with my reply, 10 new posts were added, lolComment

I would strongly consider saving for a PS4 while you can still get more for your 360. Once the new systems drop the amount you will get for the 360 and the PS3 will be considerably less most likely.Comment
