Re: Thinking about Dumping my 360 for a PS3
If your gonna get a PS3 get it second hand off craigslist or eBay. Don't spend $200-$250 on a PS3 when you can put that towards a next gen console. We are at the end of a console generation, those prices are a bit steep for current gen consoles. You can even try a straight up trade with someone on craigslist. It’s easier to do the right thing, than to explain why you didn’t.Comment

Friend was in the same situation a while back. He wasn't sure whether or not he should jump for a PS3, he would think it would be admitting his console lost. (He's been a pretty hardcore 360 fanboy, and it irks me to no end when we have our discussions)
A week ago, he finally bit the bullet and bought a PS3.
Guess what? He was sorry he was ever missing out on it. He loves the PS3 far more than his 360. The exclusives give it that little extra push imo.-the least famous person you've never heard of.Comment

I'd get over the Craigslist/Ebay thing and go that route. One for $70, another for $150 w/ NBA2k13 currently in Vegas. The money saved can't be ignored. Just keep an eye on it until the price and posting is right, and meet only at a place you are comfortable.
Got my white Vita that way for $170 w/ 3 games and my toddler's Kindle Fire HD for $120.
There are other options too like half.com (though it's being strange at the moment when I try and search for a PS3) and a local startup rumgr.com.Comment

If your just selling it outright $200, auction I would put a buy it now of $220 and just let the bidding do its process. Just remember with bidding you may get far less than you hope. Honestly its not worth much but as a seller you list high then negotiate, buyers go low then negotiate. Well imo its not worth much as next gen is so close.I'm looking to get rid of my

He could see what he could get at Gamestop with doubled trade in value or whatever they offer...not sure it'd be that great or not, but he might do fairly well.If your just selling it outright $200, auction I would put a buy it now of $220 and just let the bidding do its process. Re: Thinking about Dumping my 360 for a PS3
With Ebay you can set a floor so that if the bidding is low you don't get stuck getting far less than what the thing you're selling is worth. So if you leave out the "buy it now" option, you can set the minimum bid at, say, $150 and if the bidding doesn't reach that point the product isn't sold.If your just selling it outright $200, auction I would put a buy it now of $220 and just let the bidding do its process. Just remember with bidding you may get far less than you hope. Honestly its not worth much but as a seller you list high then negotiate, buyers go low then negotiate. I would try for $250 given the games you have.....they are all fairly recent and I'm assuming the console is in good condition. If that doesn't work I'd drop the asking price to $200.....you should definitely be able to sell what you have for that price. The only issue you will run into is skittish consumers who are buying a used console with no warranty and no recourse if it breaks.Comment

Re: Thinking about Dumping my 360 for a PS3
Update** It's a possibility I'm getting the PS3 but it's gonna be more towards mid- october ( My Birthday ).... Also have to confirm it with My dad. Considering Amazon Trade in as of Right now, Considering it gives you a bigger pay out than Game stop by 85$! Then hopefully get a Gamestop little giftcard from amazon to get the PS3 Items!
EIDT: I added My Trade-in Value from Amazon.com And the Total was 247.41$
Xbox 360 250GB With Kinect: 199.40$
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14 Historic Edition: 22.41$
Madden 25 ( It's up there ) : 25.60$Last edited by Kevpg98; 08-26-2013, 07:32 PM.Comment
