Over the last week or so, my PS3 has started acting a little strange. I've got a 160gb slim that's only about two years old.
Sometimes (not all the time) when I fire up a game, I lose audio. I back out of the game to the dashboard and it's zoomed in like the resolution is messed up. After a second or two, the PS3 corrects itself - video and audio are restored. I go back into the game and during the intro screen, my TV loses the video signal. After a few seconds it comes back and then everything is fine.
Since it's both audio and video, I'm thinking it has to be the HDMI cable going bad, right?
