Can I use a portable DVD player for a monitor for PS3...

.....I ditched my Piece-o-Vita at Game Stop and got a hundred for it. So I bought a PS3.

I get the impression from some threads that I can possibly hook it up to one of those portable little DVD players and use that for a monitor. Is that correct? If it is, then are there only certain ones that will work or something special I need to look for.

I'm hoping I can get one of the ones that are less than a hundred bucks.

Opinions, suggestions, ideas? Thanks in advance.

Yes you can, just use the av cord to connect to it.

SWEEEEEEET.....I was just checking them out in Meijers....and the actually showed a picture of that adapter with the yellow, white, and red connectors....but the clerk seemed to think that was for outputting the DVD player up to a bigger TV and not for inputing.

You just have to make sure that the portable player has input capability, most* only offer output.




*I don't really know if most are that way, that's just an assumption.
