Re: Anyone getting both PS4 and Xbone?
Good chance I'm going to take the money I have on the Xbone and put it towards PS4 games. My expendable income has become less expendable as of late. Besides, Forza and Halo don't warrant the purchase of a $500 system.Comment

Re: Anyone getting both PS4 and Xbone?
I'm at the point where I'm not getting either. Canceled my PS4 awhile ago since more friends were going XB1 and I was more comfortable with Xbox overall. 11 years on XBL, tons of achievements, friends, etc made it hard to leave.
But at the same time I can't find any reason to get the XB1 at launch either. Not a single game warrants either at launch to me, it was more getting it just to have it. Knowing I'd end up playing my 360 more with Batman, WWE, and GTA all out or still churning strong at time of launch.
I really want to see how Madden/NBA/Watch Dogs all look on next gen systems. We've seen COD, it looks exactly the same. We've seen BF, it looks like BF3 on PC looked. So now I need to see the improvement. If Watch Dogs looks close on current as next, then it's a no brainer I skip next gen. Ubi still claims that current gen trailer was a mistake and it doesn't look that bad, hoping they prove it.
Anyway, I had canceled all my XB1 preorders but forgot the MS Store one (had multiple stores to cover my butt), and they emailed me with a gurantee to have it on launch day. Made the decision more difficult, but with how good GTA is, still leaning towards waiting.
Hoping a Titanfall bundle hits without KinectComment

Re: Anyone getting both PS4 and Xbone?
At first I considered it but as of Now I don't have either of the next gen consoles preordered. In terms of gaming I'm pretty much set for the next 8-12 months. GTA V will be taking up a good chunk of my gaming time and once Fifa comes out that's gonna be tossed into the rotation.
I might cave in March and pick up a PS4 so I can see what The Show is like on a next Gen console but other than that I can't really see myself getting either console anytime soon.

I still need to dive into NCAA 14, Madden 25 and NHL 14, and then there's games like Batman Arkham City and Tomb Raider that I need to complete. Factor in NBA 2K14 and WWE 2K14, I'll be good to go for the next 12 months on the 360/PS3.Currently Playing:

Re: Anyone getting both PS4 and Xbone?
Getting both systems would be a waste for me right now since I still plan on using my 360 pretty hard. GTA and PES 14 will be getting a TON of my time and I still have to finish Splinter Cell Blacklist eventually. Then there's games like WWE 2K14, South Park, and Batman, which all have my interest a bit too. I'm not sure if I'll buy any of those, but I know I'll at least be renting them at some point.
I pre-ordered the PS4 the day after E3. The great price and console features made it a no-brainer for me. I've been a loyal Xbox guy for a long time, but I'm very comfortable with my decision. If I do get an Xbox One, it will probably be at least year or more down the road because their exclusives aren't doing anything for me, I don't really want Kinect, and I'm not all that excited about the system at the moment.
I don't plan on buying but maybe 2 or 3 games for the PS4 on launch day because I know that even those will be hard-pressed to get my time. NBA 2K14 is probably a definite, but I still want to see some next-gen footage before committing to that over NBA Live. "Launch Dogs" and possibly a shooter would be my other choices.
More power to all of you guys shelling out for both consoles though. Even if my time permitted, I don't think I could justify spending $1000+ to fuel my gaming habits at any one time.Comment

I like the PS4 remote stuff (Vita, Vita TV, etc), so that has PS4 more even or ahead now. Still like Xbox's entertainment aspect, but need to see it in action first.
I'm really on the fence, and with a 400+ or 500+ purchase gotta be smart.
Plus we're expecting a kid in March, so I'm getting old lol. Other priorities now.
I can see myself getting one by Christmas once I get concrete reviews on PS4 and Xbox One. My years of loving Xbox much more than PS3 are making it tough to want to switch, part of my hesitations.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Anyone getting both PS4 and Xbone?
Officially canceling my Xbone order with Amazon today. For me and what I'm looking for it just seems like Sony is ahead in every area. I'm sure I will get the Xbone down the road but for the rest of this year it's PS4 all the way.

500 + 400 + 360 + applicable tax?
Guessing between wife and I we'll spend $1200 by the end of November on them. Not nearly as bad when you pay things off earlier where it makes sense. I'm not buying any games until I own the console.
