GameCube?
I was cleaning out my garage yesterday when I found like 50 of my old Gamecube games from when I was a kid. I felt nostalgic, so I went and bought a Gamecube for like 40 bucks. It came with two controllers and a good memory card so it was worth it. I'm playing Mario Kart, and a bunch of other games and it's awesome. Who else played or still plays this awesome console?Tags: None -

I had a gamecube that gen and nothing else. So yes I never had a ps2 lol. Ps3 and ps4 are the only sony systems I have. I don't trade in games or systems as I like to go back and play them form time to time. I still have my snes and play it once in a while. I had like 40-45 games on gamecube. When I play it I tend to play it for tony hawk as I loved tony hawk form like pro skater 3 to underground 2. Waste land was still good last good tony hawk game but that is when tony hawk games started to get worse. Also play camecube for Zelda as it is my favorite video game franchise ever and I have the Zelda collection thing and still trying to beat Zelda time has it is my favorite Zelda and I have been trying to beat the game for like 10 years lol. I loved gamecube hated wii and I love the wii u so lets hope that doesn't mean that I end up hating the next Nintendo system lol. -

I have a habit of keeping all my old consoles, but the Gamecube is up there with the Dreamcast for me in "fun" games. The component cables are incredibly hard to find without paying an arm and a leg anymore. Usually have to connect it via composite.I was cleaning out my garage yesterday when I found like 50 of my old Gamecube games from when I was a kid. Nintendo should have ran with the GameCube.
I had a PS2 at the time, but the GC was definitely intriguing. If they made a new console with the namesake and dropped the motion and huge controller, I would definitely look into buying another Nintendo console.Comment

I keep all my old systems as well. I have them dating back to my Intellivision all the way to Xbox One. Probably have a dozen consoles that get hooked up once in a while to play. RBI Baseball tournaments still run rampant at my house and run an NBA Jam tournament on SNES every year for my high school team I coach before State Tournament.
Loved the Gamecube. I still fire it up once in a while to play Wind Waker, Viewtiful Joe, Rogue Squadron, NHL Hitz and a handful of other gems.
Loved it and still do. Still have yet to use the handle to carry it anywhere but whenever someone says, why does it have a handle? I say, to carry it somewhere.
Great system! And yes, Dreamcast is still one of my all time favorites too. In college we used to play a drinking game with Sega Marine Fishing and fishing rod. It was the best game ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!Last edited by shogunofharlem3; 03-25-2015, 08:01 AM.Comment

I still own my old Gamecube but it isn't hooked up. Some great games on that console. You could play the games on the Wii so I never needed to hook it up again. Will the Wii U play Gamecube games?

I never owned a GC, but I spent most of my Wii time (pause) playing GameCube games - specifically SSX and Paper Mario.

Re: GameCube?
I've kept pretty much all my consoles since the Nintendo. I wish I had saved my Atari 2600 and ColecoVision, but my mom got rid of those (along with all my Star Wars figures!) when I was too young to know any better.
