Automatic Downloading

I've tried to do everything I can to prevent automatic loading in my PS4 console.
I turn off all automatic loading options but every time I insert a new game the system detects an update and starts loading automatically.
If I turn off my internet connection is obvious that I will not be able to play online.
What i have to do ???

automatic updates off only holds true when in rest mode I believe. I don't think there is a way to stop the update when you insert the game to install.


If you turn off your internet connection, you can't play online with that game without the update anyways.


Unless you mean play a digital game online while a disk installs...which in that case just go into the downloads menu and either pause or cancel it.


THat's about all you can do I think.

Thanks Joet6683, I'm trying play Madden 16 without upgrades, but as i said i don't get it.
