Some of my most beloved sports games are on the old 360. If I lose the ability to play, I'll cry. I bought 2 used 360s today.

I don't know about buying a used 360. Best price I can find for a new 4GB is around $150. That seems kinda high but I am a little leery of buying any used electronics at this point. Picked up a used PS3 a couple of years ago online the thing bricked on day 2. Got my money back but got stuck paying shipping back and forth. Seller claimed it worked. It didn't.

Nope, I don't go backwards generations. Barely play the games I own a lot of the time.

Yes, use my 360 more than my One and will get a new one as a backup soon.

I will definitely be looking to hang on to my 360 for a nice long time. Haven't considered getting a back up but might not be a bad idea.

One baseball game one football game one hockey game and one basketball gamereally you're not gonna count Dead are you?

No choice gen means not gonna really work to get better. I prefer last gen or for me current gen. There really isn't that much of a difference graphically although those who have coughed up the bucks will deny that of course. Prettier doesn't always mean better.

Last gen game play is fine and until they make games that play better than what I already have I am not changing.

It's fine to be a fan of older games, the blanket statements that anything newer that doesn't have competition is inferior is intellectually dishonest more with yourself than it is stating that to others.

The Show is far superior on current gen. Don't get how you say their isn't a graphic difference. Hell, Madden 16 looks a hell of a lot better than last gen and the gameplay is by far the best since PS2 days.

Yes, the 360 is a great console, I have still have mine, but don't go exaggerating it, especially when you don't own a current gen console from the sound of your critique.

Me personally, I find PS2 sports games to be superior to the one's above it. Football especially.

Talking about sports games here. Not Uncharted 4. Not into Madden last gen basketball looks and plays good enough for me though I know the game looks better on the new machines. NHL is no better than last gen. The Show? Still waiting for the killer game before upgrading and I just do not see it.
There is a graphic jump here but nothing like it was 10 years ago from standard to hi def. I play the 4 my kid has one and for me it is OK. That's a testament to how good last gen was and still is.

Agreed. I'm a much bigger NCAA Football fan than I am NFL. Last year I got excited to play NCAA 14 when the season started, but after playing Madden 16 I couldn't even get through an entire game of NCAA. I missed things like WR/DB interactions and penalties too much.

2k and The Show play a little better on PS4, however that's mostly because they already played so well last gen. With that said when you factor in extra features and better support, then there really is no comparison.

I still have both my 360 and PS3. My 360 only gets turned on a hand full of times a year for Gutair Hero and my PS3 is a Blu Ray player for my bedroom. Both were great consoles, but I'm looking ahead, not backwards.

I bought one a month ago specifically for MLB2K13.
Right now, I'm also preferring NHL15 to NHL16 on the PS4.

So I'll happily keep my 360 around for quite some time.
