    Re: PS VR

Amazon is now out of stock for the PS VR and doesn't think they'll be restocking before the holidays. Best Buy and Gamestop still show stock availability. VR launch Bundles on ebay are going on average of $650.

Yeah our BB had 2 in stock a couple days ago.

Once I get PC built/bought I need to decide on the Oculus or VIVE also. Leaning Vive

Anyone using PSVR with the Pro?

After buying the Pro with credit from a returned faulty PSVR I'm thinking about preordering another.
Has the cinematic resolution improved,do the games look better than with the standard PS4 ?
Has the latest firmware update fixed the headsets tracking issues?

There's been a couple videos / screen shots comparing:

            HERE
            and HERE are a couple.

The main reason I was thinking of getting a PRO was for better VR but I ultimately I decided it really wasn't worth it for me as I'm going PC and will be going with the VIVE more than likely for VR.

To me the PSVR still is a nice headset for a console even with the regular PS4.

The image quality from the patch games has increased in the headset, and are now nice and crisp. RIGS is much Clearer, rivals some VIVE and Rift Games. Call of Duty Jackal Assualt is sublime on the PRO, looks better than EVE Valkyrie on the RIFT. BOUND is the one of the Best looking VR game I have ever played on any system. The only thing that piss me off they put so little effort in Drive Club. Robinson Journey is a WOW.

The Pro has special instructions for VR built into the system that gives it a big advantage over the base PS4

I hope PSVR gets Audioshield, it's probably my favorite VR experience.

I take it that you're maybe a ping pong player too? You do have the vive, right?

                    Re: PS VR

I do have a Vive (but not a PSVR), I'll have to try out the Ping Pong.

Once we're done traveling for the holiday going to set things up a bit more permanently in the living room so it's easier to hop into games like that.

Money seems to be the only reason I think anyone would consider the Rift over Vive. Many more options with the latter (both standing/sitting and room scale vr out of the box)

Sounds like multiplayer is involved. Hey, it's a start. Hoping for game mode down the road.

2K has just sent out a press release stating that NBA 2KVR Experience will be releasing on November 22nd on PSVR

It's a start is probably the only positive thing I can say about that video unfortunately, something looks way off w/ the ball handling (snapping to your hands, 3/4 court/trick shots with just wrist movement)

$12, out tomorrow on all VR platforms (Rift, Vive, PSVR)

It has some minor competition on Steam, by comparison you can tell the ball is more of a physics object, you can dribble it, (try to) spin it on your finger, etc: http://store.steampowered.com/app/487770/
