Wonder if that's the first step towards a new MSRP or just an effort to move inventory before the release of the Quest 3S expected in a couple months.

Good opportunity for anyone interested in the Sony HMD though.

Lol...I was thinking dropping it $200 to move inventory to take advantage of pcvr access and the number of games coming in the next 2 quarters as smart. They've already lost the market to Meta.

Playstation Direct is now active with the price too; Looks like the sale ends Aug 6

I think that pc support did do something.

It (1st Annual VR Show) was underwhelming (why can't we get a major sports involved!?!) but I guess that depends on who you ask as the show did connect with others with a continuous flow of some "classic, new, and remade games that looked interesting. There was an unexpected announcement and became the highlight of the event. "Into the Radius", is one of the most highly-rated immersive vr games currently on Quest and Steam. It is coming to PSVR2 and fast, Sept 19.

I can only play a few hours of No Man's Sky in vr before I have to rip the headset off. Flight and some planet experiences are my usual but with these latest updates and how much visually its changed the game, I'm starting to stay longer. Now we can fish!?! I can't wait to try this

You can now go fishing in No Man's Sky following today's Aquarius update.

After the Worlds Part 1 update introduced new water technology, Hello Games revealed today's No Man's Sky update is inspired by fan art of a player fishing from the wing of their boat. Aquarius adds a wide variety of fish from "common minnows to wild alien catches," each of which have their own habitats and catching conditions.

"Bait your line to lure in the rarest of fish or trawl the deep for hidden messages in a bottle," states the studio.

With today's Aquarius update on PC VR and PlayStation VR2, you can now go fishing in No Man's Sky.

I'm more and more interested in this game as it nears release.

                              Into the Radius

PSVR 2 players have been waiting a long time for Into the Radius to come, as other platforms have been enjoying it for a long time. Well the wait is not going to be much longer, with it due to finally release in just a few weeks.

The setting is in an old soviet mining town, after the aftermath of a strange supernatural disaster. The setting evokes a strong Chernobyl vibe and it works brilliantly. You work to investigate the mysterious anomalies left after the disaster.

Into the Radius is probably the most immersive VR shooter ever made. The game features an insane amount of attention to detail. You go on raids around the area to complete tasks and collect supplies, these raids are incredibly tense and well done.

The details it goes to though when it comes to survival is crazy. You even need to manually clean your guns back at base to make sure they stay reliable.

Into the Radius releases on PSVR 2 on September 19th

September 2, 2024 - There may not be many 1st party PSVR 2 games coming soon, but there is still plenty to look forward to before the end of the year.
