Last December I was on my Xbox One and I got a message asking me to fill out a survey about their NFL app. Well one of the main reasons I bought my first Xbox One on launch day was the NFL app integration. It's been a bit disappointing but better last year.
So I went ahead and filled out the survey and rated it rather poorly. If memory serves it was a brief survey that took five minutes. Didn't think much about it until last week I got an email that said I had won a Microsoft prize for filling out their NFL app survey.
I figured it would be a Xbox Live currency card or perhaps maybe a copy of an older game or such but did harbor some secret, crazy hope that I'd win a full blown Xbox One, I won't lie.
So i answered the email back with my address and confirmed I wanted my prize. It said that it would ship and I'd receive it within 6 to 8 weeks later.
Friday afternoon my doorbell rings and UPS has something from Microsoft I need to sign for. It's a BIG box so I immediately try to fight my belief that it's an Xbox One! I open it up and sure enough, it is a new 500gb white Xbox One!
So happy to have actually won something from filling out surveys, which I do all the time. This is actually the second thing I've won from Microsoft, I won their hockey game back in the day as well (don't even ask about that game, LOL).
So guys and gals, when you get a chance to fill out a survey from Microsoft I'd do it because people really do win!
My cat Lyla wants it for her game room..or perhaps a second litter box, LOL
