Re: Sony PlayStation Meeting Discussion Thread
It may not be native 4K, but native projectors are still $10K. They say you can't tell the difference anyways...PSN-Shugarooo

Re: Sony PlayStation Meeting Discussion Thread
Yeah that's the consensus I'm seeing from other discussions. There's not much reason to upgrade to the Pro as a current owner.Comment

Re: Sony PlayStation Meeting Discussion Thread
Well am speaking on behalf of 4K tv owners. Just like Scorpio.
If I was using a 1080p tv I would not be hyped about the PRO. It will improve textures for sure but we are not looking at something you want to dip into with 1080p tv. Same for Scorpio.
The fact that HDR is coming to vanilla PS4 is the biggest news for me...That is a win for Sony and will off set the Slim for XB1...Why? Well ps4 still has better resolution and now with HDR? WIN WINComment

Re: Sony PlayStation Meeting Discussion Thread
This is the first time in a long time I've been relatively disappointed with Sony. The Slim is overpriced and under-spec'd compared to its current competition and the Pro is massive, ugly, and will also find itself out-spec'd by next year.
I guess we'll see. It's not often I find myself underwhelmed, but here I am feeling exactly that.Comment

Re: Sony PlayStation Meeting Discussion Thread
Hey I have a really dumb question, please dont make fun of me for this
Can I pre-order a console in an actual Gamestop store wish cash or do I have to do it online"Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

Re: Sony PlayStation Meeting Discussion Thread
I am surprised that wasn't any emphasis put on frame rate improvements with "Pro Mode" patches. I don't think they mentioned frame rate at all.
Like one of the guys on this stream just said, it seems like Sony got flanked hard by the Scorpio announcement"Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

Re: Sony PlayStation Meeting Discussion Thread
I don't own a single blu ray so lack of a player means nothing to me.

Re: Sony PlayStation Meeting Discussion Thread
Yea I was just coming to post this. This is something the Xbox 1 S has right? Really surprised that this isn't a part of the PS4 Pro. Especially considering that Blu-Ray was a part of PS3 when it first released.

Re: Sony PlayStation Meeting Discussion Thread
The Pro can't play 4K Blu-ray Discs either?? So at release it already can't do something it's $100 cheaper competition can?
What exactly is Sony's plan here. This is all a very confusing strategy.Comment
