Slim will be in stores this week is my prediction.

NEO is November or next March.

Red Dead won't be there. Won't be November either. I am not on the side that feels a remaster is out there waiting to be released. A new game is probably coming but Rockstar will show that on their terms, not Sony's.

Last Guardian is either shown or quietly announced afterwards it's delayed till 2017.

No new handheld.

PSVR will be shown.

OS prediction - Everyone with high expectations will be let down.

I am on board with EGs prediction for the most part. I think the general consensus will be that the conference was "underwhelming." I am just not sure how they will be able to highlight the slight boosts for the NEO in a way that makes people go WOWWWWW on an internet stream.

I am just in it for release date, prices, and hopefully a surprise announcement or two.

That's something I haven't even thought about. That definitely would be cool. Vue is awesome and I think Sony has a real winner on their hands there.

Same here. I'm ok with a November release date for the Neo. Will give me enough time to save up some cash for it.

Also hope the slim is released soon so you can join the ps4 family again [emoji106]

Likewise, I already told my wife I want the new PS4 (or Neo, whatever it's called) for Christmas. So hopefully I'll get that.

Since im bored, I'll counter.

Slim being available today is possible but unlikely because that would mean stores in NA would already have the slim and to see it only be leaked overseas makes this unlikely. I can however see Sony having a set amount for sale in NYC where they're holding the conference but other than that, I just don't see it because if all retail stores had it already, it would have been leaked a bunch of times already.

Neo WILL BE released before November guaranteed. Today's entire conference is for NEO and it would such a waste of money, time, resources, etc. to hold this conference for something that's six months away. Plus, Andrew House has already said that he wants to do an Apple style announcement and release shortly thereafter. Another factor is the mandatory October 1st starting point for all games to have a base mode and a Neo mode. If this was pushed back, it definitely would have been leaked already.

Red Dead is unlikely but the reason I added it is because it was going to close out Sony's E3 conference but was pulled due to that psychopath the day before in Orlando as the trailer that was going to be shown was a man going into a saloon and shooting up the place so for obvious reasons, it was pulled. And yes, I do believe that this was 100% set to end Sony's conference.

TLG is 100% not being delayed. Reason it's not being shown as much as people think it should is that after eight years, it still looks like a PlayStation 3 game and Sony doesn't want to show that nor show what is most likely going to underwhelm people. TLG is for the cult like fans who are buying it no matter what on day one. For better or for worse, October 25th is in my opinion set in stone.

Agree with the handheld but im really hoping for a new one. Here's something I found out yesterday while watching Kinda Funny Gamescast. The Vita development kits have an HDMI OUT port but yet the handheld itself does not. That sucks. I would have bought one already if that was the case.

Don't see PSVR being shown at all or even mentioned. It's all sold out and unless Sony has a second shipment that will be available on launch day, I don't see why they would talk about it, get people excited only to be letdown knowing that it's all sold out and can't be purchased.

My expectations are this - im expecting what was in the leaked documents back in March to be reality. Anything past that will be an unexpected bonus. I'm expecting $400 for 500GB and so forth. No trade in deals from Sony but GameStop and Best Buy will probably do the same as they did for the Xbox One Slim. Expecting NEO to support both HDR10 and Dolby Vision which is what will make my decision for me in regards to buying a 4KTV this year. Not expecting but hoping that the HDD is a Sata III so I can buy my SSD and go all out.
