This system has been pretty amazing up to this point. If I had to rank my systems in order it would be
1. PS4 Pro
2. Nintendo Switch
3. Xbox One- and its falling farther and farther behind. This coming from a Microsoft fanboy.

Really sad to see what is happening to the Xbox One S. Like seeing the star QB from high school as a middle aged man working at KFC or something..

I'm so glad I grabbed this system. This is the system that could put my X1 to rest at least until the Scorpio comes out. Even with Zelda as my only game I honestly don't need another for the system right now. Game is something else lol. I spend more time trying to figure things out than actually questing.

Even with the few issues I would recommend this system in a heartbeat. Well played Nintendo well played.

*Forgot to mention I'm currently laying in bed next to my sleeping wife, watching the WBC and playing The Switch. One word comes to mind "Awesomeness"

I sold my xbox one s or rather traded it in.

Just couldnt look at it the same after playing the switch.

PS4 is my MAIN console for sports games.

But the switch has my main game on it. The Breath of the Wild. A game that is quickly becoming my new "warcraft"-like time sync and obsession. I never understood the draw to liking and playing just ONE game . I always was a person who bounced from game to game never even finishing them and having a backlog like you wouldn't believe, But the switch and zelda change everything.


I'm trying to 100% Zelda by end of year its my new stretch goal.

Lots of weird bugs, glitches, and overall poor designs with this console. Charging issues, HDMI input problems, weak battery, SD card unable to save games and Dock not working. I hope a new firmware addresses these issues and is released quickly.

Sorry you are having so many issues with it. I don't seem to be having any of those although I have seen multiple people complain about the HDMI problem.

The main issue I find very concerning, and that needs fixed asap, is the fact that game saves are tied to the console and cannot be backed up elsewhere or moved to another system.



Can you save your game saves to the cloud/online at least? This is seriously an issue that would prevent me from buying the system.

It's crazy how behind Nintendo is. I should even be able to carry my Zelda Wii U save over. If I decided to buy a switch today I'd have to start Zelda over completely. That's crazy to me.

What's happening to it? Mine is still as useful as ever. I play all my multiplayer games on the OneS as well as Xbox exclusives. I play PS4 exclusives on the pro and I play every good switch game on my Wii U.

Like with Wii U's best game Mario Kart 8 so to is Xbox ones best game a racer Forza Horizon 3.

They WILL support Xbox one S but Scorpio IS a brand new console just like the Nintendo switch is.

Thing is though

Who wants a another home console when you have one already?

I feel BOTW is better that mk8 personally. I hate comparing racers to other games though. . I'm surprised you feel differently the way you praise BOTW. Horizon 3 is amazing though. A definite system seller just like BOTW is.

Scorpio hopefully is a brand new console but it will be compatible with everything. I won't be forced to by new controllers, felt pads, screen protectors, an Ethernet adapter or games over again. Can't wait.

I'm not even sure I understand your last question as a person who owns two Nintendo consoles a Pro and a OneS. Plenty of people who own home consoles want new home consoles.

I do love how every time someone is critical of Nintendo you throw out your silly "oy de hate" line and then do the same towards Microsoft and Sony, and their games though.

Nothing is happening to it, which is the problem. No buzz about any games, any general talk about it or anything save Scorpio. Scorpio is going to be awesome I'm sure but I won't lie, I'm start to worry a bit because Scorpio is just hardware, where are all the games?

Not sure if you mean exclusives or just games in general. Don't really want to clutter this thread with Xbox talk though. I have a feeling that won't go over well unless I'm saying I bought a switch and my one is now collecting dust.

Waited at Gamestop with a line of about 8 people only to be asked by the manager, "Why are you guys out here?"

When we told him, he looked at us confused and said he doesn't have any in Stock and hasn't since release.

Would be nice if Gamestop actually informed their employees of what's planned. Also would be nice if telling people stores will have stock was actually true.

I've called my local store everyday in the afternoon to see if their shipment has come in. Nothing yet, and they really don't have any ideas of when they'll actually get them, so yeah, this has not been communicated well by GameStop to its stores.

It's all good. I'm not surprised some stores might get their shipment later.

What really bothered me was the manager being legitimately confused that people were standing outside the door. Like how can you not know why people might be doing that today?

I do believe Phil and all have realized how they've missed on first party games (Scalebound, Phantom Dust or whatever that was, etc). I think they're announcing Scorpio separate from the E3 event, so I really hope they're bringing it more with games (especially since they focus on the games at E3 now). We'll see though, we'll see.

I think the new shadow of mordor is gonna be a "Scorpio launch title". Plus they got a few exclusives coming I'm interested in right now. Not sure if they are being held off until Scorpio or what. We can take it over to the Xbox thread though if you guys want to continue.
