I'm trying to decide if I want to pick up Mario + Rabbids or try to hold off until Donkey Kong releases.
I rank Mario + Rabbids behind only Zelda and Mario Odyssey on the Switch. It's definitely worth it and sounds like it'd fit into your busy schedule, too, as you can play for 20 min. and make some good progress.

It's different from Xcom, but similar. Key tip: You can respec your guys for each fight...some are "get to area" so you want more movement based stuff...others you can focus on attack or things.

Great game, almost done with it. Would love to see XCom on Switch but not sure if it'd be feasible. Even a tamed down visual version.

Really liked the demo and never played the PS4 version.

                That looks awesome.

Guys, let me know what you think of Dragon Quest Builders....I kinda enjoy Minecraft (on PC) but get bored with a lack of direction eventually. I'd have to look at the next games coming out over a few months, but this seems like it could be cool.

I got Steamworld Dig 2 for my work trip and I'm really liking it! Funny how all these indie/older style games I'd hate on Xbox but feel perfect on Switch.

There's a demo for Dragon Quest Builders available to download.

I'll have to get it when I'm home...my wifi at the hotel is abysmal.

I also finally beat Mario + Rabbids, that was great. I have a few more levels to find for secret ones, but not sure if I'm going back to that or not. I was pondering flipping this and ending up Dragon Quest. Might want Kirby or DK eventually too. Hmmmm.

How is the fighting in DQ, since I can't get Demo so far. I was reading that it gets great reviews, but fighting is kinda basic. Is it fun enough to keep the build/defend/fight cycle cool?

I tried that for a couple hours, but I feel like it's a game I'm gonna have to restart after figuring out the general mechanics. So, instead I jumped over and started SteamWorld Dig and became enamored with that.

Yeah, I could see playing more in the future too. I need to get back into Stardew Valley, but i forget where i was at and there's a lot you like to remember when you get into a groove.

Steamworld Dig 2 is great for me right now. That and going back to Enter the Gungeon

Was looking at Owlboy, but $25 feels a little pricey something I’ll play through once, and I still need to finish Mario Odyssey and start Mario + Rabbids anyways. There is a physical release coming in May, so waiting until then makes sense. That way I can recoup some of the cost back by trading it back in when finished.

I like Builders.. It has missions/quests etc to keep things fresh. You unlock more stuff as you go.

Every so often you'll get prompted that monsters are about to attack.. You can say you're not ready..So you can prepare etc.. Then when ready say your good.
Survive the attack and move on etc.. It's pretty simplistic but I like that there's a path to take instead of just on and on like Minecraft. I still like Minecraft but this is a good change of pace.

                                I'm still early on..
