I think certain games can kill it quicker. When I play UNO handheld it is a battery drainer for sure.

VERY LATE to the party with nba 2k18 and fifa 18

Let me say this

IF nba 2k18 was 60fps Id argue its better than the xbox one and ps4/pc versions

I can say this tho Fifa 18 IS better on switch than it is on console or PC for the simple reason that the switch version now has a new camera angle VERY similar to pes2018 etc.

Just adore my switch

I ended up getting a bevy of indies too

Steam i thought was the home for indies

IF nba 2k18 was 60fps Id argue its better than the xbox one and ps4/pc versions

I can say this tho Fifa 18 IS better on switch than it is on console or PC for the simple reason that the switch version now has a new camera angle VERY similar to pes2018 etc.

Plus with Indies it means the Switch will have a decently long lifespan. I don't see Nintendo trying to chase the graphics PS4/Xbox for numbers, so as sales keep coming then 3rd parties will have to make games for it.

FIFA is underrated on the Switch. Runs smoothly and looks good, especially in handheld mode (NBA 2K also looks better in handheld).

The 30 fps is an adjustment with NBA 2K, but I'm glad they made the decision to lock it there, because it pretty much guarantees a smooth playing experience. I've had a few instances of slowdown, but overall, the game plays great on Switch.

Indies are great. Mummy Demastered received a nice patch that addressed many issues I and others had with the game. If you like Axiom Verge and games of that nature, you'd enjoy Mummy Demastered.

If we could get OOTP or Super Mega Baseball on the Switch, man that'd be great. I'm holding out hope that R.B.I. improves this year, but we'll have to wait and see on that one.

IF rbi baseball has the ability to have a behind the pitcher cam then I feel rbi baseball would be worth getting

SWITCH= Nintendo games plus Indies
PC: Indies, Sport Sims, VR and Strategy games (mainly Strategy games)
PS4: The Show, Madden (IF they improve franchise this year) and Freebies lol

I have heard this rumor a few times. It would seem like Overwatch and Hearthstone would make more sense as Blizzard properties given their ability to make more money as a loot box type games. Maybe Blizz wants to wait and see how the Switch's online systems are before committing?

Diablo would be work the best as far as blizzard goes on switch imo. It wouldn’t look as good but they could make it work. There is also really no need for a microphone chat system which is where the switch lacks most online wise. I’ve played 100s of hours of diablo and rarely ever use a microphone playing with randoms.

Finally beat (Bowser) Mario Odyssey after taking my sweet *** time. Ended up collecting around 300 plus moons by the end. Would go back for more, expect the game failed to grab my full attention despite being fun in spurts.

Now that I am done there I can focuse on Mario + Rabbids. Still early in the story (world 1-4), but so far so good. Has that Nintendo polish I would not expect for a Ubisoft game.

On a different topic there is a new indie football game in production called Legand Bowl that I think would fit right at home on Switch.

I felt the same way about Odyssey. Fun game, but didn't quite hook me the same way Breath of the Wild did. I'm not really motivated to go back and collect more moons at this point.
