Sooo I borrowed my brothers switch. Just to play a few games. Especially with my prewife. She's totally into it!! I'm really happy to play games with her. As of right now we have Mario Odyssey, Zelda, Snippets clips, Mario Kart and 1-2 Switch. And I think we're been rotating between Odyssey, Snip and Kart. 1-2 switch is awesome for groups. Especially the party mode. I think we have to buy one lol.

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion
I just found out a huge problem guys. And this sucks balls. So I brought a bunch of games on my brothers switch digital. Because I'm looking into buying a switch of my own. But I just found out you can't share games on the switch. So if you buy one copy from the store. You can only play it on one switch. WTF..... For a family that buys several switches. They have to buy a game for each switch. Yeah, I'm probably out. This sucks.

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion
I don't know if this helps, but when you get your own switch, you can either transfer your entire profile over to the new one which will move all your game purchases and saves, or deactivate your Nintendo account on this console and activate it on the new one, which will allow you to redownload your purchases on the new Switch. However, you won't have any of the save data associated with them (curse you lack of cloud saves!)XBox Gamertag: djbeth77

Oh I saw that. But that doesn't help me at all. I brought 3 of those games on my brother account.I don't know if this helps, but when you get your own switch, you can either transfer your entire profile over to the new one which will move all your game purchases and saves, or deactivate your Nintendo account on this console and activate it on the new one, which will allow you to redownload your purchases on the new Switch. Why you gotta do that jeebs? lol
It's a great system even with its flaws. Another great co-op game is Overcooked.

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion
Yeah makes no sense lol. Paid for the games on his account. Xbox and PS4 let's you share games and save game saves. Could you imagine having played 30 hours of Zelda? And then your switch gets stolen. All those game saves are gone......

It’s ridiculous honestly and I can’t believe Nintendo does so well regardless of things like this. Their whole online infrastructures is years behind.Comment

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion
The funniest thing is I actually have exact amount money to buy it (planning a wedding. No room for anything else). Borrowing my brothers and downloading the games under his account was to keep the cost even lower.
Finding out this new out is a huge downer.

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion
It's insane about the game saves, but buying games on your brother's account wouldn't transfer easily on any other system either. It does have the family system that somewhat works, but with the Switch being portable that doesn't always have internet like the other systems require for that.
Sucks for you though for sure, but i wouldn't expect game license transfers ever...Hopefully eventually game saves will be able to transfer, maybe if they allow multiple people to login or something. Nintendo's definitely behind there. I'd buy physical for you until now and figure out saves later.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion
I totally agree with what your saying. But PS Vita has a game sharing feature. And a internet connection should not matter in a family situation. I don't have kids yet. But I couldn't buy a system that so family and group focused. And my group couldn't share the games (in this day a age). I use to be one of those people that brought 3 copies of NBA 2k for my brothers (they live at my mom house), a copy for my house and a copy in my book-bag for friends house who didn't have it every year. But like I said in the 2k switch thread. I'm getting married in Sept. Trying to have kids and Trying to buy a house. So my budget is literally nothing lol. I brought 3 of the above games with gift cards. I got a nice raise+bonus (which all going to the above life events lol). So I was thinking definitely getting the switch. But no more lol. I can't buy a system without any games. Especially after buying a bunch of games. At the end of the day. Poor judgment on my side. I should of looked up if the license were transferable or if there was a share feature in play. It's insane about the game saves, but buying games on your brother's account wouldn't transfer easily on any other system either. Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion
Yeah, I hear ya...I don't buy that many games anymore, I don't have the time/budget. It does suck there's not something that would help you though. I wish MS and Xbox's used game transfer idea that got slaughtered by Sony would actually have gone through. Game share can work too if you truly trust someone.I totally agree with what your saying. Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion
Regarding Overcooked, I would 100% vouch for that too. If you're playing co-op, it's so much fun. If it's by yourself, I wouldn't bother though. But Overcooked has easily been me and my girlfriend's favorite co-op game.I totally agree with what your saying. But PS Vita has a game sharing feature. Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion
So after much back and forth with my prewife. Because she wants to finish Mario. We are getting one! Should be here tomorrow! Lol
Yes, I think I'm getting overcooked. And my brother has said he will pay for the games I paid for to make it even. So I don't lose out on any games.
